One of by friends for a long time has had this obsession with fat girls, he calls "thick," but whenever he shows us a photo or we see one in person its always a blaub.

I've seen him pull some decent tail, but whenever it comes down to showing pictures of girls or what not or even flirting, but if she's neither a) not a powerlifter, b) legs not as thick as tree trunks, or c) a BMI > 30 his attraction goes out the window.

I don't understand this lol. He's in great shape and very good socially but just this fetish/obsession I think is preventing him from gaming/bedding the top quality women that he can get with his skills / humor. He will never touch a skinny woman. What is this? A mental illness? Or just a straight up real-life chubby-chaser?

He has no shame on this too which is a bad thing so I know its kind of for real.
What do you guys think I should do? I tell him its bad for his self-esteem and may be some kind of reflection on how he views himself if he always goes after fatties.
