If you speak half decent Spanish then there's no reason to rely solely on internet dating sites, you should definitely be out talking to people. Myself I'm a pretty extroverted guy and always chat people up like taxi drivers and the dudes who sell smokes and chiclets (and blow lol) , talking to chicks is no big deal down there. I think my favourite thing to do in Cali is to smoke a big joint and go down to the shops in centro and hang out there talking to girlsand random people. Also in plaza Caicedo you can buy tinto, there's always hookers down there too just hanging out, you can practice talking to those skanks to get warmed up, I go there to get my shoes shined, the shops are about three blocks away. If you're white then the shop guys on the side walks will call at you saying "mono, mono, mono a la order buen pueda" mono means monkey and at first I was confused when I looked it up in the dictionary, I thought "why fuck are these black dudes calling my white ass a monkey" then I learned that mono is what many Colombians call white or light skinned people. I was fucking dying laughing, then again, I was pretty baked at the time.

I agree about the best way of going out in Colombia : with a wingman with the sole purpose of not looking weird as a gringo that spends his nights alone at a bar waiting to be approached by a prepago. Plus women here are always in groups .

It's too bad that many of the RVF members are not so keen on meeting other forum members . But i get it .... each has a different story , some stay here 2 weeks some live here permanently .Some seek quantity, some quality. The game level varies dramatically . But even with a beta wingman you will do much better .
