There are plenty of white college basketball players who get mad pussy and live like rock stars for 4 years even if they know they'll never make the nba. That's plenty incentive for white kids to keep playing it. College athletes are celebrities on campus, even the bench players have status. I lived on a dorm floor with some football players, the goddamn backups had girls chasing them it was unreal. Just having the jersey and running out of the tunnel was enough to get pussy chasing them.

I just want to share with you guys two things I noticed in the last two hours on two different sports shows on two different channel's.

1. On MLB Network's The Rundown, they spent 10 MINUTES on a segment about people's favorite baseball player to follow on Instagram. It might as well have been the Instagram Network in that moment instead of the MLB Network. It had absolutely nothing to do with baseball besides the fact it involved baseball player's profiles.

2. On ESPN's Around the Horn, journalist Mina Kimes was on discussing Ezekiel Elliott's lack of hustle on Sunday and literally called it "bad optics" and talking about how he could get hurt. I was in shock for the next 5-10 minutes that this word was actually said on air on a sports show but shouldn't really because it's ESPN. Only saving grace was Tony Reali (alpha male host) told her to "settle down" after saying that and deducted a point from her.

I changed the channel immediately after watching a little bit of both scenes. This seems to be the current state of 24/7 sports channels. I don't want them gone, but it's clear we've seen the peak of this concept, people are running out of things to talk about if scenes like this are making air, and it's clear that technology, social media, and politics are being pushed too much into sports.

Just a real-time update, everywhere I look online and I've been hearing on the radio The last week or so since this thread was started it's" the NFL really sucks this season, ""the NFL and it's disappointing games", "the NFL and it's lower ratings", etc. etc. just funny to see how on point my uncle roosh is. I already made my points in my previous post in this thread. Now I know that the NFL has a lot of smart and well paid people that saw this coming a mile away and have already started to plan for a shift in resources/revenue from online streaming services as opposed to the TV contract model. However that being said these sorts of things sometimes become A self -filling prophecy. I really do hope this is one of those times I would be cool with basketball being the new top dog sport maybe it could become a longer season that started in the fall or late summer who knows what the future of sports will be.

The lengths that you and other posters have been reaching to blame everything on (((them))) is truly astounding. Props to Kid Twist for actually taking the time to break down a possibility as to why White American NBA players are declining instead of going to RVF's version of "patriarchy". MLB spends a lot of money recruiting players from the DR and Puerto Rico to play in the league.

Even some of the NFL greatest players like Randy Moss and Terrell Owens, only played in the NFL because they couldn't make the NBA.

I use to laugh at Team America, but they have made a lot of progress in the last decade.

In the last world cup, I thought they played well against Germany and should have won.

They will get to the knockout stage in the next World Cup or soon, winning I don't see for a long time.

College sports are probably the best bang for your buck in the US. For example, it's $6 to watch my local Division 1 university soccer team play in the best seats, while equivalent seats for my local MLS team are about $30. There is an even bigger discrepancy in price between college basketball and football and pro.

The USMNT has plateaued at the same level for the last 20 years, it's not just that the MLS is weak (in fact it's been getting slightly better), it's the whole soccer culture that is whack, with little Timmy in a team spending hours schlepping in minivans instead of being out every afternoon at the local ground dribbling older players. Contrast with basketball, which has a strong pickup/playground culture, similar to the soccer culture you'd find in countries with advanced levels like Brazil or France.

Exactly. The average white guy in the USA is about 5-10 or so. I couldn't understand using the few white guys referenced to prove a point. Whites are the tallest race in the world and in the US.

Where black Americans have an advantage is they seem to retain mobility well above 6'6''. Up until 6'6'' you have lots of whites too, but it's the 6'7'' to 6'9'' extremely athletic wings where blacks have a clear advantage. You also see this in olympic play. Euros easily match guards and centers, but they can't match the athletic wings like Lebron, Melo, PG, etc.

On the contrary college hoops has really fallen off in quality. The ratings for college regular season have absolutely cratered partially as a result. One and done has exacerbated this.

The NBA is light years better but due to such a long and grueling season, players take more 'nights off' if you will.

It isn't that college games have better defense - it only looks like that because college ballers are so awful offensively.

USMNT is facing growing pains currently because there's a gap right now between the old guard and the u20's. Josh Sargent just signed for bremen today. Pulisic is a bona fide 60+ million pound rated teenager.

There is good talent in the 15-20 range in the US right now in soccer.

Euroleauge is the most entertaining basketball these days. More physical, better fundamentals, less timeouts.

The leagues have switched places. NBA has become the 3 point chucking fest of the 1990s Euroleague and Euroleague has become the grit and grind of the 90s.

Basketball is more popular in China than soccer, and there are more professional basketball leagues worldwide than any sport outside of soccer.
