Are Cinema dates really that bad? 3rd date with a chick and im taking her to see IT, I havent got passed making out yet but im thinking this could work. Im picking her up and dropping her home, when I drop her off Ill say lets hang out some more, we didnt get a chance to talk tonight and then use that to bounce inside hers where I'll go for the bang.

I dont think the cinema for a 3rd date is that bad? Weve had two drinks dates where she knows what I'm about, done the standard game qualifying, teasing, spiking, etc. I see the cinema as an easy date where I can escalate physically easily, hand holding, her getting close to me as its a scary film , kissing, will see how far I can take it and calibrate, maybe not even do too much and let the tension build up for when I drop her off. We can talk on the way there and back, and also whisper in her ear during the movie.

After 2 dates she should be coming to your place to watch a horror movie on your couch, not the damn theater. Invite her over to your place for a "halloween movie night."

Make some popcorn and fire up the netflix or have her look through your DVD collection. Throw on a movie and get to escalating.

Nothing dries up new poossy more than a lame movie date. I concur wholeheartedly with the aforementioned advice. Especially the themed movie night. It definitely softens the edges of inviting a chick over. Maybe suggest making homemade pizza to make it interesting.

You'd be surprised what's possible to accomplish in a dark (hopefully near empty) movie theater. Easier to get a woman off than a guy, but don't underestimate the thrill of pulling off public sex acts. It's more memorable than Netflix and chill.

Movies are a solo thing for me. I'll take a girl I've already slept with if I don't feel like going alone. I'll also go with groups of friends unless a friend has already proven to be a bad movie partner. But, I'm serious about movies. The last thing I want is some girl interrupting me with heavy petting!! haha!!

Taking a girl you never kissed to a theater is a terrible idea. She'll be sitting next to you for 2h and you won't be able to escalate nor talk to her (without bothering others).

You took too long to secure a makeout. Take her to a bar or pub. Have drinks and talk to her with your face next to hers. Cheeks should be touching when you talk to her (ear). When you realize it's the time*, secure the kiss.

* Smile, look at her eyes, then at her mouth, smile... If she's receptive, kiss her.

Hey guys,

I was thinking of starting a new thread for this, but then found this thread and realized that it was covering roughly the same topic, so I'll just post here instead.

I'm planning on taking a road-trip across the USA to see the country as it really is. Where do you think I should begin my journey, what are key locations that I should spend time in and where should I finish up the trip? I have three months to work with.

Also, I should add that my situation right now does not allow me to budget any money for gas, food, accommodation or entertainment while on my trip. As well, I don't have a car and I don't have the money to rent one and borrowing one definitely isn't a possibility. I have no driver's license.

Any tips/suggestions for making my trip a reality?

Note: I'm broke and have no employable skills.

Your dates should be moving closer and closer to your house successively. Movie dates are always bad because you don't spend time building rapport and attraction, you just sit there staring at a screen.

I don't agree. If you're sitting in a theater with a girl and trying to escalate while you vie for her attention against world-class actors on the screen you're working against yourself.

Everything you're doing at the theater you can do somewhere with far better acoustics and logistics.


There's nothing special a movie theater offers that a more interactive date could not do better. You're sitting in a dark room surrounded by other people when you could be at a bar or at your apartment knocking back drinks together and getting her in a mood that is actually conducive to fucking.

in the theater you're just some dude she's sitting with watching a movie, whereas on a date where you're talking and running game you're building up her attraction for you in real time so that by the time you go in for that kiss there is no LMR. It's just a smooth sail from bar, make out to back home.

If youre 14 yo and "making out" is your goal then a movie date is maybe a great idea.

Movie dates get a bad rap.
Personally I think they're a good idea for a first date or a revival.
1. They let the girl know you're interested and they're pretty casual and relaxed (it's no big deal).
2. Add for more things to talk about (on the otherside it's expensive and 2hrs for a slight bit of conversation)
3. Can lead to drinks after (I live near a cinema that has a bar in it)
These are just my takes on it, anyway let me know what you guys think
