RE: Undervalued cryptos
I've recently pulled everything and thrown it into VeChain. The last month has been insane and more insanity to come until end of Feb. I won't exaggerate here but I can't tell you how hilariously undervalued it is, but most of this is due to the major suppression that is going on with these massive sell walls.

- Amazing partnerships (multiple multi-billion dollar partnerships)
- Product finished and already implemented and being used in China's major market sectors
- Is used as a utility token while also acting as a currency.
- Has a generation incentive like NEO, except more robust.
- Is an incubator child of PWC, one of the largest accounting firms in the world.
- Team is off the chain. CEO used to work for QTUM and was C-level exec at Luis Vuitton
- Upcoming announcement on DNL VG partnership (https://www.reddit.com/r/Vechain/comment..._power_of/)
-Re-branding that has only brought incredible news and isn't ending until Feb.
-Is currently solving a MAJOR problem in China and other nations of counterfeit goods and overall supply chain management.
- 5 Different node types/wallet-coin staking
- Is a platform that can scale and provide larger enterprise businesses with the means to create their own block chains and projects.
-The list goes on. Check out their community, it's growing each and every day and if I'm not mistaken, it's currently at an ATH (been saying that for the past day now).

In finance terms "undervalued" usually means that an asset is, on the basis of some multiple or other (e.g. price / earnings or in real estate price/rental income) cheaper than it's peers are.

Cryptocurrencies are not backed by any form of cash flows and lack any kind of easily quantifiable value metrics that allow one to compare their value against each other relatively. By the same token you can't arbitrarily decide that bitcoin is overvalued because then it becomes "overvalued relative to what other cryptocurrency"?

The currenct market capitalizations of cryptocurrencies are insanely high,
there is no real system or real economy to back them up at the high values they are at now.

Look at ADA.

26 Billion dollars market cap.

29% increase in the last 24 hours.

This looks like the exact definition of the top of a crazy bubble mania

Look at the total crypto market cap.

$715 billion.

That's chump change in a world where FOREX trades $5-6 trillion a day

I don't think it's unrealistic at all to see a $1.5 trillion market cap for crypto at the end of 2018.

Crypto got put on many people's radars in December. A lot of newbs with money are going to want to get in on this.

There is a difference between pump and dump shitcoins and coins with solid dev teams, use cases, and front of house PR.

Id say generally any coin below $5, and especially below $1 will double in Q1 2018.

I sold Obsidian at about 2x after the ICO. Not bad. It went through a long consolidation and now it looks like it may have a breakout. Classical head and shoulders pattern on the daily chart.

To the TA and charting haters, they can and frequently do not materialize. However, I have been trading some breakouts over the past few weeks that have been very good.

I have been up too long. Forgot to mention that head and shoulders top means you need to avoid or short.

For every Amazon and Google there were hundreds of companies like pets.com or webvan.

Samuel I am not sure were you got the idea I invested in Aussie Mining stocks. I discussed them but specifically stated I do not invest in them (generally not a fan of mining stocks).

Many guys on this forum who speculated in Crypto are pretty savvy and ,made a lot of money but they do not represent the average crypto speculator. The average crypto speculator knows almost nothing about the technology or financial markets generally and is just jumping on the latest craze.

Do you only consider yourself an average speculator?

The cryptoworld has some huge downsides though:

The lack of easy liquidation and fast withdrawals. They simply don't exist.

All the trades are monopoly of few large exchangers trading websites, which will let you withdraw less often than not, and only small amounts.

I came in this thread to post this, yeah.
If ODN would just say, airdrop 50% of their founders supply to token holders, they'd be a 800 million dollar coin by the end of the month.
Instead they're languishing.

Here's another chart for Obsidian. It's a head and shoulders bottom which is a bullish pattern. I'm watching this closely. It seems undervalued given all of the other shit that is out there. I'm going to buy if there is a breakout.

VeChain by far, simply by partnerships and the fact that they essentially have an unlimited supply of funding in the world of blockchain start ups.

I'm surprised no one here has mentioned Stellar or Iota yet. Iota in particular seems to be pretty innovative.

There's a giant thread about IOTA.

It's hard to say anything with a billion+ marketcap is "undervalued", except maybe VenChain which is going crazy ATM.

Ascending wedge on the ODN graph. Support being raised and resistance constand at around 0.000049 btc. Should breakout if it can smash through the resistance.

I posted about XLM on the first page.

It'll ride XRP's coat tails a bit, had a big run up from high teens to over .80 this week.

RE: Undervalued cryptos
I will venture to assert that Bitcoin is undervalued, since it has not already been mentioned in this thread, and it happens to fit in the category of "crypto," or as some might say, including myself, king of the cryptos and really the one that matters, because if bitcoin "goes down," then what kind of prospects will any of the other cryptos have?

So, the mere fact, that in three pages of this particular thread, no one has outrightly asserted that bitcoin is undervalued seems to help to substantiate my point, that perhaps, bitcoin is undervalued. Wink

Comparing Verge and Particl, I guess it's obvious which one is undervalued.
