No preamble. Here are key concepts I have come to understand.

Contextualize her and your place on the 1-10 scale for everything.
Your tactics must completely change based on where she sits on the general attractiveness scale, and where you sit, and you have to be honest. A 6 has a completely different reality than a 9 or 10. Being really nice and being direct works great for a 6. Your 6 friend might give you advice "women just want a guy that is direct and not beat around the bush." while this is mostly true, you must keep in context her 6 world view. A 10's advice is more "you think you are being creative, but you are not. I can sense from a mile away that you are trying too hard to get around to clumsily asking me out" Too many dudes instinctually go overboard with their peacocking when approaching an 8-10, as if they think if they dont say something remarkably interesting or funny she will be gone. This of course backfires: men that 8-10s actually hang out with dont act in this wishful, desperate manner.

Basically, act like youve been there before. Easier said than done.

Choose more isolated, non-FOMO locations
My Vegas/Hollywood/NYC game is super weak, but I think it might be just that I go for 8-10s, and every woman is in full FOMO mode at all times. You waste time making progress, and then they and their friends have something better across town to go to. In the case of LA/NYC, its always some actor or musician thats throwing a party or some shit. In vegas, its more likely during day game your girl is staying at a different place and doesnt want to leave her friends, and night game theres just way too many options.

Contrast this with cities with small downtowns or big cities with small pockets, or destination locations. The psychology of choice restriction is your friend. Examples of game-perfect cities for bagging that 8-10: Stockholm, Warsaw, Charleston SC, Scottsdale AZ, San Diego, and the top of all time, Palm Springs.

The confidence that comes with understanding she doesnt know you
I used to get frustrated when I got turned down. Discouraged and lost confidence. Then once I was hiring a person for my company, and realized I am completely guessing based on the information I have, which is not much, about what type of person I have before me. By analogy I realized its irrational to get discouraged that a girl that doesnt know you turns you down. She doesnt know you and is just using heuristics and cues to make decisions! Embrace the feedback of how you are presenting yourself!

All good points. Having some experience of game in NYC I see what you mean in point 2. Everybody has 3 events scheduled for the night and you have to play the cancelations. My favorite play is to have a date at the NoMad and another at the Ace Hotel so I can walk from one to the other depending on who cancels.

I will also agree it is bold to start your first post off as a thread like this, I must admit you are giving good advice here.
Especially about 6's and 10's having *vastly* different realities.

There are a lot of virgin keyboard game theorists that will say things like "don't pedestalize that 10 bro! she's just the same as a 6! treat her the same way you would treat a 6 and you will have so many bitches!!!!"
But they don't realize that girls in the 8-10 range live in a completely different universe where I wouldn't be surprised if there's even different laws of physics involved.

In a Western country unless you are famous or a full time player that does 100 approaches a day, you are unlikely to ever meet anything above a 7. In fact, most guys who have never been outside the West usually rank girls higher in attractiveness scale. That 7 gets so much attention that she might as well be a 9.
The main problem is that there aren't many 8-10s. Nowadays Western girls just don't work on themselves anymore. They are lazy, can't cook for shit, don't know how to dress in a feminine way, view men as disposable and have zero respect for authority. Combined with all the attention whoring there's just no incentive to improve. Girls that are innocent and look amazing at 16 will quickly hit the wall once they start destroying their sleeping habits by spending their nights on social media, binge drinking, fucking around getting pumped and dumped and not following a proper diet.
Your only chance is to move to a place where thanks to superior genetics and a culture that still values traditional gender roles you have an abundance of 8s and 9s with the occasional 10.

Dude this, so this. Good post otherwise but this must be emphasized. I hate bringing up particulars but remember that Claire Abbott chick? Even the law works against you. Cute face (not hot) but absolutely banging body, but really only from age probably 14-18. By the time she had social media'd her way from youtube singing/showing her huge tits to getting on Bilzerian's IG, she provided the classic example of how youth is everything, and nothing, in a culture in which it's been destroyed, for those for whom it really matters (women). She went from an 8+ based on youth and body, to a quickly sloppified western slut in a lightning quick 5 years. "But she's got such a great voice!" I can hear someone wailing in the distance ...

I wouldn't say they don't take care of themselves... certain areas are incredible. but your general point is good. I call it the 2 of 3 rule. Theres high functioning/intelligent, beautiful, and nurturing(as in cook, respect their man and not see them as disposable).

That's funny, I also have a 2/3 rule.
With girls I encounter, I can usually pick a maximum of 2/3 qualities. If I can find a girl with all 3 (a unicorn perhaps), it's immediately wifey time:

(1) Highly beautiful / attractive

(2) Cool (i.e. not overly weird or a loser with no friends)

(3) LOYAL

I have had different variations of girls possessing 2/3, but never all 3.

I agree with #1 and #3. But I'd rather my girl not have any friends. Her girlfriends can often times end up ruining and influencing her too much. The only friends my woman has are her family (mom, cousins, aunts). Thats the way she likes it, she says she hates wasting time talking about absolute BS with other women "friends".
