I hear a lot about the concept of the cock carousel: that women are just like men in terms of having an unlimited desire for unique and ubiquitous cocks. But is this accurate? I am not so sure.

If we look at basic biology, we see that women are harddriven to seek quality over quantity.

I think what is happening is that the radical change in societal norms (in the West at least): death of monogamy, death of slut shaming, encouragement of slutty behaviour missattributed as empowerment, etc... have led to the decrease of relationship and the increase of hook ups. Technology (smart phones, social media, dating apps) have exacerbated this societal decay.

What is happening is that when the dating market turns into a hook up market, females get to be hypergamous. In a relationship market, in most cases, a girl is not going to be able to date up. If she is a 6, maybe at most she will get into a LTR with a 7. But in a hook up market, a female 6 is able to hook up with a male 9. Now obviously, that male 9 can get sex from many more female 6s, so he has no desire to stay in a LTR with any particular 6.

However, females are too stupid to realize this, and their biological desire for quantity over quality, ironically, leads them to to experience BOTH higher quantity AND quality, BUT only for hook ups, not LTRs. In fact, if we break down what "quality" means in terms of biological nature, for females, one of the aspects of "quality" is a guy who sticks around, so technically then, getting a chad for 1 night, even though he is physically high quality, it is only half quality, because he does not stick around. From a biological point of view, pregnancy is lengthy and requires resources, so it makes no sense, from a natural/evolutionary/biological point of view, for females to prefer a chad for 1 night as opposed to an average looking guy for 9+ months.

I don't think that females prefer hook ups to LTR. I think it is their genuine naivete and stupidity, and being a slave to their hormones and biology (which takes precedence for them over their rational mind in terms of the hierarchy of their decision-making process), which makes them fall into this trap.

That is also why they cheat: they cheat on their husbands with chads, not other men at the same level of their husbands. Their biological desire for quality shows in this, again.

Simple solution: curb female sexual freedom and bring back slut shaming and hook up shaming, and encourage monogamy and LTRs again. This is what the primitive patriarchs did and it worked like a charm, until recently, when dumb ass libertarians got so open-minded that their brains fell out.

In short, yes, of course it exists. Now, not all women decide to get on. But it seems that most do. And that can play out in a few different ways. The most obvious, and the one most often mentioned in places like RVF, is the open slut. She is seriously riding it, and, given the right circumstances, pretty much any guy with even an ounce of game has a shot. See: club sluts.

The second major carousel-rider is actually a lot worse. This is the "serially monogamous" girl. She goes from boyfriend to boyfriend, and only has sex in committed relationships. The issue is that she has a new committed relationship every three months. If she loses her virginity at 16 and decides to marry in her late twenties or early thirties, that can easily amount to 50+ lifetime sexual partners. Society largely gives these women a pass. And, they often self-delude in to thinking that 50+ sex partners will have no effect on their ability to be a dedicated and faithful wife and mother. Literally all academic literature and study on this (outside of feminist and gender studies, which should not even be considered academic disciplines) discredits this idea. Previous sexual history matters. It always matters. There is deep correlation to a whole host of negative consequences from riding the carousel.

And, yes, again, it exists.

Whether the women "naturally" want to slut it up or not is not presently material. Society encourages them to do it. Do you honestly think that those women who get skrillex or lesbian Scarlett Johansen haircuts think that they look beautiful? No. They are just following the push of society, and an increasingly mad society at that. On anonymous reporting, most women indicate that their "ideal" number of sexual partners is 1. Yet, only a minority of women (in the US) will have one lifetime sexual partner. It doesn't matter what they say they want. It doesn't matter what they actually might want. A woman has to have an iron will to reject what almost her entire culture is instructing her to do.
