Pheromones: Bullshit or Real?
Hey All -
I'm going to be launching a human pheromone company soon and am interested the Roosh demo's opinion on them. What do you think about them? Have you used them?
My personal experience spans 10 years off and on.. Bought some in high school from the now out-of-biz Androtics Direct and figured out pretty quickly that they're legit and that some of them are powerful. The wrong amounts would make my father and my more alpha friends aggressive towards me for no reason and would make some of the more popular bitchy girls instantly shy and submissive. Others would make people generally receptive to conversation. Others had noticeable self effects and would make me feel a little dizzy, then energized. One blend I remember made people treat me like a fucking VIP/ celeb, no joke.
Also have had experience using intimacy building pheros with people otherwise guarded and have had them open up in noticeable ways.
The real problem as I see it with the pheromone industry is that most of the players in it are selling garbage snake oil that's either so weak it doesn't work, or poorly manufactured (these molecules are complicated and expensive to synthesize) sprays that fall way below their claims. So what should be a utilization of some legit science has turned into a skeezy porn store meme product ("80% of the time, it works, every time" - Anchorman).
At some point I'll invest 40k into hiring a university scientist to conduct a research study so I can back up claims with data, but that's later down the road.
Where I can come in is in offering a legit product (have tracked down some PhD chemists with access to the manufacturing equipment needed) at a fair price, and push it with my knowledge of paid traffic (google, display, native, adult, youtube, etc.).
But I'm not so interested in one off sales, I want to deliver value with this product and grow a repeat-customer base.
I'm working with the chemists on concocting blends, each will require a good bit of trial/error before we come up with something finely tuned and ready for market, but for now would appreciate feedback.
If you were to buy pheromones, would you be most interested in:
- A general dating/ sexual attraction blend
- A high status/ VIP blend
- A workplace blend that makes you seem generally alpha and in charge
- Intimacy building blends
- A blend that makes you seem like a fucking asshole but also sexy
- A blend that acts as a general social lubricant
- Any other ideas you have.
*** This is NOT a pitch to try to get members here to buy my shit. For one, my products won't be ready for months . For two, I don't have 30 rep points. If you want good pheromones that work then pherotruth forums. They don't sell anything, just review the different companies. ***

Being a blond complected person myself, blond vagina tastes real acidic to me ( One of the main reasons I wont date them anymore). Humans can sense how different someone's immune system is from our own, and we tend to like the ones farthest from it to ensure healthy offspring. One of my favorite things was to just smell the hairline and neck of my ex-wife where all the sweat and pheromones would collect. Even her "morning breath" was strangely appealing. Other girls.. not so much.
As for the business idea, I'm dubious that human pheromones could be broken down into anything more granular than simple sexual arousal. Fine tuning them for "social lubrication" or "VIP" status seems way too anecdotal to achieve. I'd be in the basic dating blend only camp.
Very interesting anecdotes. I'm dark brown hair, light olive skin, and have always found some ethnicities bone structure and pheromonal smell extremely appealing, others 'meh', and some just flat unappealing (black girls). I agree that there must be some drive towards being attracted to those with opposite traits so as to ensure genetic variety, but I'm also extremely attracted to girls like me with bold facial features/ olive skin/ dark brown hair. I once met a girl that was an objective 7 but I found her a 9.. later found out she's from the same small village in Russia as some of my great great grandparents were from.
I know it sounds far fetched to think that pheromones can be tuned so as to be more "VIP" than purely sexual, but it turns out there there are myriad pheromones with which one can put in a blend, each communicating something different. This is where the testing and tuning comes into play. An analogy I like is that pheromones are notes in a scale. We can make a song with one or two of them, but with careful chemistry and lots of iterative testing we can start to make songs that sound different and produce different feelings when heard.
Of course, I'm biased by my own anecdotal experiences testing different blends, as are the other people who've posted about them. But the more I've been learning about the chemistry the less far-fetched I'm thinking it actually is..

RE: Pheromones: Bullshit or Real?
They are absolutely real, but producing them artificially is a losing prospect.
You need to focus on a service based model.
Find a bunch of ripped male alpha 10's and put them on your payroll. You book in a beta male. He arrives and you lay him back in a barber-style chair. The alpha males then liberally rub their ballsacks all over him for 15 minutes or so, making him anywhere up to 145% more attractive to women within smelling distance.
We're all adults here and I shouldn't have to emphasize this but obviously this is a game technique and therefore not gay.
The public will judge a man by what he lifts, but those close to him will judge him by what he carries.

It's not a pitch, it's an attempt to stir controversy about something that won't have any definitive answer. As if we're going to believe you can make these claims about effects of your magic potions. I've looked at your previous threads and you are skillful at subtly causing trouble by making ridiculous claims and then acting casual about it.
I already called you out for the troll you are here:

However, it does seem to be very hard to get a right one in the right dose for the right moment. I'm not sure for instance how long they stay well and sometimes the same product can seem to be different between two bottles. I also agree that many companies seem to sell garbage or unstable formulas and on top of that they are quite expensive. So in theory, yes pheromones could be a good addition if somehow a good company could produce decent ones stable over time for a reasonable price.
I've not followed up the industry in latest years, so no idea how the sector evolved, but as most things that get too commercial, I imagine, it went to shit.
Agreed, I've had similar issues with product consistency over time. Androtics used to have a blend called A314 that was a huge hit in the mid 2000's, but around 2009-2010 they changed the formula, perhaps due to supply chain issues. As I've talked more in depth with the chemists I've learned that to go in a more nuanced direction poses a big challenge as there's a legit global supply chain issue. Not enough demand for something expensive and hard to produce = limited supply.
Thanks for your input. Regarding price points, what would you consider to be a reasonable price? With decent margins I'm thinking a $70 price point for a 30ml unit would work, that being with high concentration of pheros and fragrance oil on par with Creed/ Bond/ etc. Other companies now are charging $60-$85 for 30ml.

RE: Pheromones: Bullshit or Real?
I've been wondering about this. Firstly ofcourse we need to accept that human attraction is more complex than breeding pigs.
Looks, game, social circles etc are all important in human life.
Now ok, pheromones are real and DO have an effect. But why is it people think about conscious scents but the people don't swear by such and such pheromones? Normal fragrances are multi-billion companies and can cost substantial sums of money. But phero companies don't tend to look overly professional. And they aren't making huge sales (as far as I know). I accept that the mainstream isn't always right. And some might consider using pheros as "taboo" because it could be considered "cheating". But the fact remains, traditional fragrances are believed in. Phero ones are seen as some sort of "eccentric fringe" populated by companies that often look like they were started as a semi joke by kids fresh out of college.
I wonder how the ideal scent/phero would be created. I'm sure fucking, good T levels, energetic exercise produce certain good pheromones. Likewise being in a nice clean, prosperous environment would produce good scents or even pheromones. Not a dusty student gaff that smells of dog piss and damp. Probably smelling of multiple female fragrances could be helpful. Then if I was saying targeting a girl who was born in Seville (smells of oranges in Summer) but moved to England very young, then maybe a fragrance with orange/citrusmight makes sense?
Alternatively, I wonder if there's such a thing as an "attack weapon" of specific pheromones. Something more tweaked towards individual women? Something that triggers automatic reflexes? I'm guessing just as women choose to marry different types, their sexual/dating respnonses most likely show variety.
PS I wonder if we need a "congruence" in our pheromones. I mean, can women subconsciously work out if pheromones are artificial or (even worse!) belonging to someone else?
