So I was at a club recently on a Ladies night in Thailand and there was easily a 3:1 ratio early on in the night. The club setup was basically :

- One floor, with a DJ front in center.
- Dance floor in front of DJ.
- Small tables on each side of the dance floor, with many tables having all girl groups. Those who've been to Thai clubs know this kind of setup.
- Two bars with many girls as well, and guys, many alone or in pairs.

I arrived solo early and was dancing solo to the music near the bar. I noticed lots of staring from girls, and made a few approaches, but they were mostly nice rejections or the girl wanted to continue dancing with friends. Later on when I went to make a few approaches, girls were warmer but still wanted to dance with their friends / always returned to them.

My question :

For the above situation, if you want to pull and/or even get numbers, should you approach early and just talk to everyone? Pick a single girl? Get a table? Dance solo like you have no care in the world and let everyone come to you?

I've seen each of the above work to some degree, so I guess they all can be pulled off, but is there a best strategy?

Yeah, I suspected that's probably the case.

But suppose I wanted to pull/get numbers on ladies nights. What then would you do?

My guess is to absolutely not be the guy sitting around checking girls out, but go high energy and dance on the dance floor, then wait until later after everyone has drank a lot and then approach.

Unsure about Thailand, but here in States it is a scam used to increase liquor sales. Most of the women who arrive at the bar are friends of the bartenders, owners, bouncer, other staff etc.

In short, don't do it. But if you must, just hold the "I didn't know it was ladies' night" frame and "just enjoy yourself." Women will want to be a part of that.

One of the things I've noticed personally that I find very effective is prospecting who you are going to approach. If you deem yourself as a nice guy with calm energy approach a girl with a nice attitude and also with calm nice energy by looking at their eyes. The eyes don't lie. Softy's usually have really big eyes while aggressive more fierce women with higher energy has smaller more aggressive eyes..... hard to explain but from my experience, it has been working great for me.
