At this point beer you simply have to stop doing what you're doing & simply approach women left & right since it is The most important thing in your life right now! No need to be anything right, but it does help.

I think mass approaching a waste of time as someone who has done it a lot in the past. Will work on my lifestyle, fight tooth and nail for that side job at a bar or nightclub (ain't easy at all getting it from what I am experiencing so far) and a few months from now will report back with how it goes because that will speak louder than any back and forth going on in this thread.

You can spend one hour a week volunteering to make connects with regular folk.

Refer to point D response to part one. Literally stop hanging around with losers. Your choices will improve. It's that easy. I get hand shakes, high fives, or a hug from my boys not because I'm important to their growth. But I actually care. I take the time to cultivate their lives with good things. And them with me. This has repaid me a thousandfold.

The whole fun is part of not knowing the girl and having an adventure within a few hours.

I'm not against cold approaching. I think it's fun as hell. I enjoy the shit out it, because it plays to my strength - the gift of gab.

However, people have to understand that it's not magic. These DHVs, negs, IOIs make for good books. Most guys with girlfriends or wives met them in their social circle.

Personally I think pickup and cold approaches are fun as hell. I don't even care about getting blown out anymore -- chances are I'll just laugh at her if she's rude. Worst scenario I met some new people.

When I went to the clubs in the late 70's it was expected girls would show up with there circle of friends I don't see much has changed since.
I have too say I would never brag I binged watched "Gilligans Island" all weekend (every weekend) like chicks do for T,V now (basically what it is) but for chicks it's just admitting what is historical..they don't go out much and never have.

There are lots of guys here that are in different stages of there lives and with different chick goals
a 20 yr old guy will perhaps be in a FWB groups but wants strange
a 30 y old guy may feel excluded from the 20 yr old group(s) and not interested in chicks in his age range.
a 40 and above guy doesn't give a fuck and just looking for strays from the entire women's age spectrum (herd).

What has changed is chicks are confused more than ever on the only thing that matters to them "relationships" or bonding (the beta males aren't confused they just gave up)
Chicks are more isolated now and can be in a group but still isolated within the group by the phone.
Chicks are more lonelier now, enter a dog/cat and tattoo's/body mutilation to express themselves (hey look at me for fuck sake I exist)
Divorce is 100 percent likely and each chick thinks it will probably happen to them ( they get a controllable doormat male that is a "safe bet". ugly geek)
Chicks are either on legal or illegal drugs (I just assume now) they all think they have real mental issues.
Low self esteem, low self worth, immature and most have lost their best ability...verbal skills.

Hank has observed the cause and effect of the new society on women. The only thing to do is adapt to it and adjust the approach.
My approach starts with a few never changing things about women (back to the basic's) which is wanting (needing) to be liked and sincere flattery. ALL women like confident men preferably taller than them
The next is today's women put themselves into tiny bubbles for their own sanity all a guy needs to do is figure out how to get into each specific type of girls bubble. (working girl...college girl..divorce girl...marriage minded girl...religious girl...e.t.c)

My thinking on dating and hookup APP's is it's the woman that want them (and world wide it's women that are the predominate users for various reasons...marriage being one) I have met more than enough chicks that ask me if I'm on this or that kind of APP to know I'm either a Luddite or IT's the girls that are continuously evolving to the next best thing to meet a guy.
I say this because men like to go out to hunt (local bar or the mall or beach) and there is something about chasing, seeing, touching and smelling the prey that is exciting (and worthwhile) than dull right or left swipes or lying to some hippo on a date site

Comte said a "real job" and a social life but we are talking about the kind of social life that leads to you fucking hot girls or having around the same level of success as a DJ or bartender.

That kind of social life, especially in the US, is extremely difficult to build.

Most Meetup groups are trash full of fatties and losers.

Most hobby groups are for that hobby alone and won't get you that sort of a social life.

Most activities you see through Meetup and other events are trash when it comes to getting the hedonistic lifestyle.

Lots of people out there look down on the drinking and partying lifestyle after college which DJs and Bartenders have an access to.

Most people just suck when it comes to helping you get that kind of lifestyle.

And just making friends in the industry is its own bag of worms.

Why would some bartender at a high end nightclub want to be friends with some software engineer?

Why would some DJ want to be friends with some random white collar guy?

These guys don't have a reason to make friends with random people unless those random people can get them status in their world. A bartender is only going to make friends with you if he feels that you can get him a job at a better bar, same with a DJ who feels that you can help him get discovered.

And on your own, it is tough to build that kind of status with hot girls regardless of your game.

You'll never be able to sell the idea to a hot girl at a nightclub that coding is cool and your lifestyle can compete with that of a DJ.

That is the appeal of these professions to where guys making good money like me have even fantasized about quitting to work in nightlife, you already have some sort of status built in even if you are the help. She rather fuck a bartender that can barely make rent over an engineer living well because engineers are "not cool".

But I am done with the complaining, I rather learn the hows than the whys.

I cannot think of how someone who works 40-60 hours a week at an office job can potentially build the kind of lifestyle that gets him that sort of status. Even if he travels or does other things, it is tough as nails to build the lifestyle that gets you a lot of sexy women.

I've seen the women in the white collar world, they're a bunch of harpies looking for a free meal ticket. They're not looking to smash for the night and leave or hang out to party, they're schemers looking to see who they can divorce rape.

If guys feel like Hank is so wrong, they should be offering more examples of what an engineer or others in those sorts of jobs can do to fuck a shit ton of fine pussy because the way I see it, it is almost impossible to compete with someone like a DJ in that regard.

I always wonder, “If I started a corporate job in a new city where I don’t know anyone, then what would I do to create a high-end social circle from scratch?”

The only way I can think of is going out every weekend with the sole purpose of talking to as many people as possible.

This includes the bartenders, the doormen, and the promoters. The best looking groups of girls. The best looking groups of guys. The best looking groups of guys and girls.

Overtime, you may start seeing the same people over and over, and if they really like you, they may invite you to hangout with them.

I mostly run day game, but I did spend a couple of years in college experimenting with night game.

Here are some examples where cold approach gave me the opportunity to bond with various social circles:

1. I was on the bus, heading to the bar solo. I saw a cute girl in the seats next to me, hanging out with her beta guy friends. I proceed to chat her up quite directly, and after awhile, she mentions that she has a boyfriend. Her guy friends saw how confident I was, chatted me up, and invited me to grab drinks with them. I politely declined and continued to roll to the bar solo.

2. I direct approached a cute blonde at the bar once. Her friends started laughing and we all ended up getting to know one another. I was beta back then (still am) and the chick clearly wasn’t down for me, so I just ended up getting friend zoned by her friends. Too bad. I remember having them all over one time to pre-drink before a concert. Plus, it was nice going to the bar sometimes and using them as a sort of “home base” while I approached other girls.

3. One time, I found myself at a food truck festival while vacationing in San Francisco. It was getting late so I decided that it would be a good idea to start heading to the bars. I literally went around the entire festival opening mixed sets with the exact same line: “excuse me, do you know any good nightlife spots around here?” I think I must’ve opened around 20 sets before a group of hot girls were like, “yeah, we’re heading there right now. you can come with us.” They ended up drinking me up at the bar before I peeled off to approach other sets.

There’s many more examples that I can think of off the top of my head, but the above scenarios demonstrate how it is possible to penetrate social circles through cold approach. You just have to be ready to talk to EVERYONE.

Moving back home after college has turned me into a little bitch: I pretty much just run lone-wolf day game now and hang out with my family. I hope to get a better job in a cheaper city while I work on my location-independent business. This way, I’ll be more motivated to meet new people who are involved in nightlife, as I’ll be completely alone if I don’t.

I’ve also thought a lot about expanding my current interests in order to meet more people, as most of my hobbies are solitary pursuits.

Would you tell yourself that you’re going solely for the women? Or would you convince yourself that you’re going for the physical and mental benefits (e.g., increased flexibility and decreased stress), and that if you meet a girl, that’s great, but if you don’t, then that’s great as well?

Some classes that I’ve thought of taking are: cooking, meditating, and French.

I already cook and meditate, but why not further my skills in the presence of others? And since I live in Canada, learning French would increase my geographical freedom, while allowing me to converse with more people.

At the end of the day, loners like me must put in the work to build a social circle from scratch, whether this be through cold approach, trying out new activities, or getting into the nightlife industry.

It IS necessary to discuss, because people need to see why the logic is flawed and to bring negative thinking to light and show reasons why one should change.

It's no wonder why you think it's "silly".

You should probably stick to posting in the everything else and politics threads like you usually do then.

It's always guys like you who jump into the game section, make some lame statement, then are shocked when someone calls you out.

That shits lame, at least contribute something of value or describe your own experiences, way more positive than a passive aggressive comment.

Beer, everything you need to know about game and transforming your lifestyle is in kaotic's post above. I can't add much to that and neither can anyone else I know. I've given you advice before as well. All I can say at this point is what I say to every other newbie that won't wake up. Start a self-improvement thread, document your actions, statistics, accomplishments, blowouts, failures, etc. There are many examples out there. If you can't do this to help yourself, why should we help you? Trust me, this is a helping hand, not an ultimatum. That said, see it however you will.

Some different perspectives on the topic of this thread. I think beer said that he respects Dan Blizerian more than the married guy with kids. That's fine but I disagree. Maybe this is a broken record but there are many complaints about women not reproducing or being feminine on one end and on another end, no one wants to reproduce with them. So why blame the guy that is reproducing with them? Sleeping with random women does have an end when it stops contributing to your value as a man. There has to be a clear distinction between the "beta" sap who shacks up with an ugly hag VERSUS the upstanding masculine guy that marries a feminine woman and raises strong children. The latter get mixed in with the former and hence, shown a lower amount of respect implicitly.

My point: The guy that is leaving behind a strong legacy EVEN TODAY, by guiding his children and helping them become strong leaders in the future is more worthy of my respect and has MORE GAME to me than someone like Dan who capitalizes on fame and does not add the same type of value. I have nothing against him but to actually provide someone like that respect would be something I would more closely assess if I meet him or understand him better as a human being, not by watching girls do coke off his asscrack.

Personal reference: I've been married for 11 years now, have 3 great kids, found game after marriage, got obsessive about it and made some stupid mistakes, learned from them, and now realize what I had before and what I still have is much better and more fulfilling than what I can get from pursuing random women that don't do much for me. The value of these "randoms" is very low in my book, to the extent that at some times, I don't even value a simple conversation with them. It's something I still struggle with reconciling and if I do it successfully, I know that I will be a happy man. That day, I will consider myself to have good game or maybe it will be "modern" game.

There was a time when I didn't understand a "player" that I met off the forum when he approached and banged hot women. At that time, I was disillusioned with my "ball and chain" and couldn't convey what I have as something valuable and fulfilling, even if I tried. Then I got to a point that I understood game mechanics and got better at it. I then got to a point when I started making more value comparisons between this life I pursued versus the life I built. I suddenly started to realize through this process that I was over-valuing something. I truly realized how green, or dry for that matter this grass on the other side is.
