Gentlemen,

I could have sworn there was a thread already but couldn't find it. I'm in the early stages of an LTR and she is always talking about taking care of me. She is all about me, I've never had to deal with anything like this before so I figured I'd ask all of you.

From what I can infer, what she means by taking care of me is making sure my house is in order while also buying me nice shit that I like. She does have her own career and this is a long distance deal.

I am a bit of a cynic so I feel it may be a little too good to be true. Most women I deal with usually want something from me so we never last more than a few bang sessions.


What are your thoughts?

That's what women do when they really like you. Even staunch feminists will start cleaning, doing laundry, and cooking when you dick them down right and they see a future with you.

Until she gives you evidence otherwise I would let her do this stuff for you. One of the great joys in life is having a submissive caring girl that wants to make you happy.

One of the things that I've seen consistently repeated on this forum is that what a women says is irrelevant. It's her actions that count. So if she's already doing stuff for you that's one thing, if she's just saying she will that's another. I'm guessing it's the latter since you said it was long distance.

I recently ended a LTR with a woman that was frequently verbalising her fantasy of a relationship full of domestic bliss where she 'looked after her man' but the reality..?

She once put together a cold meat platter for me and had a mental breakdown when I didn't show the right amount of eternal gratitude.

To clarify-- Cold meat platter = no actual fucking cooking.

I, on the other hand, helped her move home, dealt with her bully landlord, picked her up from the airport and a whole swathe of other beta shit that's just too embarrasing to admit.

So I would take what she say's with some specticism until she proves it with her actions.

Thank you both for the insight. So far I have seen consistent effort/action from her so I haven't had a reason to doubt her BUT much like a conspiracy theorist I am always skeptical. We'll see where it goes I suppose.

Saying something is not the same as doing it.

Ignore what she says, watch what she does.

We'll see how good a care she takes of you in the long run....

My longest-term plate would literally do anything for me. And, yes, that includes cooking hot meals for me multiple times a week.
