I only do it if im outta town. I just can't give a woman the satisfaction of an approach under those circumstances. As a high value male, she needs to exhibit enough IOIs to where it's obvious that she's not only interested but throbbing and pulsating at the thought of me. Maybe, Im approaching this with too much gravity, but there's something about the gym environment that simply favors women too much or maybe not. Maybe Im just making excuses.

Please opine and help me sort through this.

I've done it with girls i've seen around town or back in the day school before.

A completely cold approach at the gym I haven't used outside of my Bangkok hotel once, which I don't really count because it's Thailand...

I would like to start doing it though, i'm in better shape than most people so it's the 1 place I have an easily identifiable advantage I suppose.

I watched a guy at the gym recently blocking the way of a girl going from a machine to another, cellphone in hand and asking loudly for her number while about four men were staring. The girl didn't respond and just got around him. I think the guys had balls but he was too aggressive. That was hilarious.

Out of town or not I would just try to start a casual conversation and from there see if it's worth it to ask her out or not based on her body language and the conversation. I think you're approaching that with too much gravity.

I've done it, and gotten several bangs, a couple of mini-LTRs, and one LTR from it.

Approaching at the gym is interesting for a couple of reasons. There's an element of pre-selection there if she sees you often enough, plus a mutual interest.

However, you're really catching a lot of these women off guard. No makeup, lots of sweat, and perhaps not the most attractive clothes. You also want to be careful, because being labeled the gym creep is never worth it, especially if you love your gym (like I do).

The best way to go about it is to ask for a spot. Only ask for a spot on a legit lift. For example, if you're asking for a spot on less than 225 for bench, you shouldn't be asking a chick. This gives you a chance to build some rapport, and then take it from there.

The last girl I approached at the gym went like this:

-She spotted me while I was benching 255.
-Asked her about her training, said I've seen her around a couple of times.
-Said I'd never tried her workout before, asked her to take me through it. She agreed.

Next day:

-Went through the workout. Chatted more, learned a bit about why she got into the gym, her past, etc.
-Touched a lot while helping her a few exercises towards the end.
-Asked her if she wanted to grab a post workout snack. She agreed.

After that, basically proceeded like any normal approach. Touched her more during the date. Did another workout a couple of days later and I invited her back to my place to try my protein shake recipe. Banged twice, and now she's on the roster and we train together now and again.

Most people won't hit on people from the gym despite the fact you can find better than average women in the gym.

There are a few reasons why.

1) You don't want to get into fucked up relationships with people you are likely to see everyday. This is the same reason you do not game at work.

2) The gym is the place where you focus on your work out. Most people don't want to be in the gym. They go there to optimize health and improve their game prospects.

3) You're better building relationships with men in the gym than hitting on girls. You can always get prospects on jobs, books, information, knowledge and ect. The most likely common thing you have with others in the gym is the gym itself. This is why paying a little more for a gym membership can go a long way. Places like lifetime fitness is actually about connecting with wealthy people.

Wow. I go to the gym 4-5 days a week and I must admit I see some of the baddest chicks in the gym. I haven’t really gamed girls in the gym since college. I’d love to hear more stories on people gaming in the gym because this is a weakness of mine.

When I was in Puerto Rico last month I had a chick approach me. It’s easier for me once a chick approaches.

The gym I go to is a serious gym that is focussed on strength training. Most of the women there are far from slender and the ones who are a bit more slender have boyfriends/husbands big enough to rip my arms off. So, I'm just friendly with everyone, but I don't try to game anyone.

Besides, I'm there because I want to get stronger, not because I want to game girls.

My game is in shambles after being cock blocked so many times by a chick's BF doing turf protection or by her bringing up "her boyfriend" instantly within moments of starting conversation. That's why I do Match and eHarmony but those have their own problems, which Roosh and others have talked about ad nauseum.

solid advice. guess i'll have to suck it up and ask for a spot on lighter weight. Im a boxer and despite being a lean 225lbs at 6'3 i can't lift shit. Like literally. I used to lift 120lb dumbells now i can't even bench 225lbs more than twice. My slow twitch muscle fibers have atrophied and though some boxers can keep their strength im definitely not one of them. I guess i'd have to explain this to her before the lift lol

I do not even want to look at the girls.
It is distracting.
Most girls do cardio anyway.
But the ones who lift weights are hot.
And sometimes they lift more than me.

I will say though I love it when fit chicks are in there in tight spandex stickin their asses out and sweatin it out. Primal things inside me start to brew and I just get into my workout that much more.

Started gaming in the gym, so far no results and there are things that are not going in my favor. Those new chicks that go are constantly around gym boss who is also a coach (not too good as some from Lifter's lounge surely know) and I just cannot communicate with them. Also they are not consistent! New chicks just come and go. Sometimes they are at some specific hour, sometimes they come later or earlier. Even if I would give advice, gym boss would come and stop me and insert his bro science instead. And whom they would rather listen, me or owner? Simple choice for women.

On the other hand, there are handful of women that have exited MILF phase who have displayed clear interest in me. It's interesting to see how direct they can be without being too overt for people around. Month ago, one of them just stopped when I was resting on the bench and said "wow, you really got stronger and bigger!" which almost made my chin drop to the floor lol and enter simultaneous conversation with three different women. They also tend to touch you, sometimes even for a bit too long haha. But I am not interested in married women, especially since they are not MILFs anymore but not ugly also. They are in some kind of transition phase regarding looks and they are just not desirable, that's all.

I usually leave girls alone in the gym except for two notable exceptions, in both instances the women came on to me. One was a same day lay , the other was one of the worst dayes in my life. Personally, it is a poor venue compared to day game, social circles, or night game.

I take gym seriously...I am too focused on the routine...too focused on the exercise and I don't want to dick around in the gym. There has been the occasional question about an equipment or the "accidental" eyefuck but other than these I just don't think of hitting girls on my gym.

Social circle game is a big part of gym game from my experience. Make friends with the trainers and staff there, crack a few jokes with fellow members here and there, essentially lock the place down just like you would a bar. From there indirect game is easy, chat it up naturally and go from there.

Worst case following this maybe you'll make a few friends you can share workout tips with and push you to train harder.

If you keep to yourself and just do direct approaches, it's still possible, just harder.

Gym approaches are typically very entertaining, in that they are blown up by factors stated above: earphones, intent lifters, oblivious people, and of course, bitches of both the male and female variety.

Its really not as hard as you may think. You can just walk up, ideally if she wears something outrageous, or does a strange exercise and start a chat. Or you can say: "I know people in the gym are not supposed to talk to each other, but I just saw you there and thought you looked interesting" or something like that. Basically daygame skills are needed. In my experience a number close is easy, what comes after that.. well. I am in a foreign country, so that helps, but nonetheless same gym for a few months. Today I considered a approach, but didnt do it because I had a hangover and.. well I guess i should have done it haha..In general I found the ROI of nightgame higher anyway. But just try it a few times, cant hurt.

Have these girls ever suggested you ask one of the many other bros in the gym? I would imagine the average girl would be too intimidated to spot a stranger on a 225+ bench.

What type of spots do you really need? You should know your strength and not need more than a few pounds of assistance. Unless your really maxing out, but obviously you wouldnt ask a girl for help with this. I dont even like asking guys I dont know for a serious spot, too many people help too early.

This is actually one of my secrets but what the hell.

The best feeling in the world is to talk to the hottest girl in the gym while all the other muscle heads are too scared too.

There is an expectation at the gym that to approach a girl you have to be the alpha in the gym, not true, ignore it, just talk to her. But the gym is a polarizing place, although all of my rejections there have been pleasent. Just be aware. Some girls are there for attention only.
