Imagine the boost to the economy if Facebook and Instagram went down for a week. Maybe the stores will run out of alcohol and condoms! Maybe a few Incels would stop contemplating suicide.

Unironically, there are people who've said after big earthquakes (disruption to power) that they would meet their neighborhoods for the first time and even started romantic relationships during blackouts.

A few years ago either X Box Live or Playstation online multiplayer was down for a month. I was praying hackers went in and fucked up Facebook and Instagram for a month or two-it would have been glorious!!!!! The whores would have no attention, and bold approaches would yield high conversion rates similar to the late 1990's- a true player renaissance was almost imminent....

Lol I know how to delete both. I meant I cannot as I have to keep in touch with family/friends in other states and countries.

Sometimes I have to use a college friend for a job reference and asking him on facebook is the only way.

Otherwise I would be off that shit. I hate social media

So many people have one foot on the platform and the other on the train, always finding wishy washy reasons why they "have to" be on them. There is only one reason why you "have to" ne on them, and thats because you want to.
