The last time I was in a LTR and was faithful, was 6 years ago. Actually a mini LTR (11 months) and i didn't want to be unfaithful at any time. Didn't have the need, I think.

Now, it's the first time I am being unfaithful. I couldn't believe that I would be being unfaithful and running 4 girls at the same time (just a pair of weeks, mainly just 2 at the same time). And it really takes work. I have always criticized unfaithful men. Now that I am on RP, I do it with no remorse.
What I don't know is if I use this RP knowledge as a hamster. Also I don't think being this way all the time. I just did it to know how it feels, how it is.

Yep, 14 years, married for 5. I posted elsewhere on how "you just don't do it". A lot of great comments already but I'll add my 2 cents.

First, monogamy is not 'natural'. We are base, stupid creatures that will fight and fuck all the time if we give into our base desires, revert to the primitive. There's a certain pleasure in that, but it's only for small doses. Monogamy takes work, but then you get out of things what you put in.

Your game never stops, it has to evolve to match the challenges of an LTR. Banging through girls is fun but shallow, gets dull and when you have a deep pair bond with someone it's worth preserving and pursuing. Still waters run deep. Cheating will destroy that and you've given her a loaded gun to fuck you in court, or to morally fuck somebody else behind your back in revenge. Remember the power of women to rationalise anything and everything, whether it's a slap in the face or cutting off your dick while you sleep.

Also, when you have kids, you're not just cheating on her, you're cheating on the family. You want to mess up your kids' lives and your future relationship with them because you couldn't control your primitive urges? Not worth it.

I'm not sure why you think that most guys aren't loyal to their LTR, even on here. Most of them are.

Myself, I'm fine being exclusive/having a single LTR. Given of course that she is feminine, submissive, and we have a good relationship both sexually and personally.

Otherwise, I'd just break up with a girl.

When I date multiple girls or have multiple LTRs (I think people call them mini-LTRs) I am open that I am not looking to be in an exclusive relationship and that if they have an issue with it I'll understand.

This whole idea of having a good LTR and cheating on side is for immature people who think that sex is the most important thing in the world. That or top 1% alphas, whom women would not leave alone even if they do not try to seduce anyone and cheat. Seriously it might be more of a curse then a blessing, constant temptation that might leave your energy drained, your family destroyed, your finances reduced.

If you have a developed personality and a few years behind puberty you start seeing other things more interesting. Sex is just a need that you need to occasionally satisfy so you can focus on something more interesting again. All you really need is a single beautiful and sweet woman that is nearly always available to quickly satisfy that need. Then you can forget about sex and move on with your life to more interesting things, your mission, your hobbies, your children, business, games, politics, philosophy, travel, writing, creating, whatever.

Now I am not judging and if a man occasionally slips, it's not so bad as when a woman does it, because a man can still remain devoted to his family and mission after that. But the problem is that he doesn't always remain such, too often a man too gets too much absorbed by his other women, so it is always something to be cautious about. You only have so much time, money, energy, why squander it all around? Think about your life, what do you want in the end - to build up something, to sire and raise children that love you, to have done something important for society, maybe see buildings that were built by your participation, see inventions you contributed to, maybe see humans you helped in some way to prosper all around you? Or you want your life to be a series of dead ends that leave you nowhere in the end?

If you focus on sex you can never have enough, be there one woman or hundred. Focus on higher things and you might get a real fulfillment, see sex as just a need that you need to occasionally fulfill and one woman is enough, any more just becomes a hassle. Of course this only works if yo truly have that one woman almost always available, so you need to get there and mastering seduction is still worth your time.

So much ridiculous baggage to unpack on this thread I aint even got the time.

Loyalty and monogomy are not synonymous.

If you get no play and low test then it is easy to say "oh yeah I only mess with this one girl"

If you were alone with a mad fly chick who was asking you to smash and you knew no one would ever find out, you would totally do it despite whatever "morals" or "honor" you think you have. Men and women are both like this.

A lot of guys don't realize this or don't have access to that world because they are way too judgemental.

Just Get Good and l make it clear your girl that you aren't exclusive. If you have Game she will stick around regardless of any other girls you get at.

I would agree most people work like that and will rationalize it afterward, yes. But you should realize not everyone works in the same way and are morally corrupt.

I watched some soldiers in Afghanistan that got ambushed and way outnumbered in the middle of the night by some Talibans. They first tried to retreat but two soldiers got killed and the Talibans first took these bodies and started dragging them away into the forest.

The American soldiers were on low ammunition and outnumbered. It would be so easy to just retreat and go back to the basecamp but they still decided to spend several hours attacking and chase after them so they finally could get hold of these dead bodies and bring them home, even though they didn't really have to do this and it was basically a suicide mission.
You have guys jumping on grenades just as a way of saving their buddies.
Let's admit that's a way harder thing to do than to stay faithful to your woman, even if you got a lot of options.

And why do (some) men do shit like that which goes totally against our natural instincts (and when our instinct to stay alive must be a lot stronger than the urge to fuck another chick on the side when you're already getting sex from your LTR)?

Cause it's a pride and honor thing in the same way some will feel a moral obligation to stay true and honest with a woman who you claim to love and claim to be the closest to. Someone who was there for you (when no one else was) during hard times in your life, maybe when a family member of yours died or that time you got diagnosed with cancer, someone who you have experienced a lot with and maybe gave you kids etc.

I'm not even saying I am like that (I wish and I haven't found a woman worth this kind of loyalty yet) but we probably need to realize that there are some morally superior men out there who believe in something bigger and it's to be admired.
