The good news is that that the elite are only ever one particularly rowdy week away from being totally routed, and the desperate stench of fear you can smell on them ever since the yellow vest rebellion is proof of that.

Ya it was hard to believe this was real when I first saw it. However, the public seems to not be accepting this crap as tons of comments say they will not be buying their razors anymore.

Won't matter. Gillette is owned by Proctor & Gamble and good luck boycotting every brand they own:

Brands owned by P&G

I boycott every cosmetic product in the market since they are full of anti-androgens that can lower your testosterone. I use only organic toothpaste and organic liquid soap. These 2 products are from brands that are not made by Proctor and Gamble and contain no testosterone lowering menthol, parabens, phtalates and BPA. I also do not use shampoo since most brands contain anti-androgens and instead shave my head every 2 weeks and I do not use razors and shaving cream because I allow my beard to grow.

Now this is well executed. The narrator has the perfect voice for this commercial. I had complained in an earlier post that the manosphere's home-made video response to the original Gillette ad just sounded wrong. But this is how you do it. Great job.

It's nicely done. But I haven't heard of any of actual rival shaving companies coming out with a quick viral response like this. What are they afraid of?

This was a desperately needed response. I'm glad one company had the balls to go against Gillette. They probably saw it as a well timed marketing opportunity, but I really don't care. Well done. The best part is they didn't even have to take shots at anybody (besides maybe Gillette) to get their point across. I'm not even a watch wearer and I may go buy one to support them now.

As far back as I could remember, I always wanted to be a player.

I just about teared up at that Egard Watches commercial.

I'd buy a watch but I don't wear them. Definitely gonna share that commercial though. Good stuff.

Won't matter. Gillette is owned by Proctor & Gamble and good luck boycotting every brand they own:

Brands owned by P&G

That's not the point. This isn't a really boycott. This is simply a reaction to advertising. Advertising is supposed to get the audience to buy the product and improve the brand image. This ad is having the opposite effect and is going to cost P&G revenue and damage their brand reputation, irregardless of the immediate loss of customers. Huge publicly-held conglomerates like P&G don't stay profitable by not giving a shit whether their billion-dollar brands make money. If men's razor blade sales tank because of this misguided new brand identity campaign, they'll replace it with something else.

The difference between this and a boycott is that a real boycott has a clear objective. People boycott a company until the goal is achieved, then you end the boycott. What is the goal here? Pull the ad? Pull ALL ads that you don't like, even ads for products targeted at women? Have the responsible executive be fired? Fire ALL the SJWs at the company Have a Gillette rep issue a public apology? What's the goal? Clearly identifying the goal is important for a boycott because otherwise the boycott won't be a part of any meaningful strategy, it will just be a mob throwing a tantrum.

Though again, a boycott may not be necessary. As far as I'm concerned, there doesn't need to be a goal. I can simply stop buying Gillette razors forever. If they want me as a customer again, let them figure out what they need to do.

They have watches as low as $85

What's important is not that people buy their expensive watches. The metric that they will be watching is "total increase in sales due to the commercial".

We want them post a press release that says "Egard Watches Sees $350% Sales Bump from Anti-Gillette Ad". Of course the mainstream press will ignore it, but the marketers will see it. It will be a big fuck-you to Gillette and the SJW shitheads.

RE: Gillette releases new toxic masculinity commercial: "The Best Men Can Be"
https://dalrock.wordpress.com/2019/01/18...a-boycott/

Dalrock had an interesting take - the ad has a very very negative brand changing experience for men.

And the difference to NIKE is this - Colin Kaepernik may be a libtard bitch, but he is a masculine bitch who is still rich and good-looking. Sure - his athletic credentials are not top-notch, but he isn't a soyboy.

The issue with the Gillette commercial is not only that it's filled with libtard ideology - it has fat, effeminate, cock-blocking, old, ugly, soy-cuck-looking men in it. No one wants to be any of the men except for maybe 2/3 of the black dudes who pass through as positive examples that are not cock-blocking any other guy.

Thus - when this catches on, then it's worse than a boycott - it's a brand destruction.

I just hope that they double down on it and really tank the entire brand - after which the brand manager will get fired. He is not at CEO level and unless his Dad bought 1-2% of P&G stock, then he is done.

This fiasco is going to hammer Gillette's brand, currently estimated at up to $20 billion. This campaign is a $5+ billion mistake.

Quote:In 1999, Gillette, as a company, was worth US$43 billion, and it was estimated that the brand value of Gillette was worth US$16 billion. This equated to 37% of the company's value, which was the same as DaimlerChrysler, one of the world's largest car manufacturers at the time.[19]

I'd argue the difference is that Kaepernik actually had a valid protest and Nike supported said valid protest while Gillette have created a protest against themselves by highlighting a non-existent issue and tarring all men with the same brush.

Nothing valid about Kaep's protest, it's just dumb self-defeating victimhood culture, the kind of thinking that keeps Blacks down. He's a tool and a useful idiot who bought globalist propaganda.

Valid protest insofar as he's able to do it. In terms of substance or authenticity, valid is not the word I'd choose. More like vacuous

The video finally hit one million "dislikes" and broke into the Most Disliked Videos Top 40.

Commenters are still claiming their comments and dislike votes are being removed. I wonder if YouTube's people will take the weekend and MLK holiday off, and allow the negativity to really take hold? Or did they get people to work overtime to continue to put out this fire?

This was never true.
Whatever credibility he may have had should have been completely destroyed a few days ago, when he and his wife (not even kidding) had the audacity to call out OutKast's Big Boi, who has more street cred among blacks than Kaep could ever hope to, for confirming that he would perform at this year's Super Bowl halftime show in his native Atlanta–basically going full "if you're not with us then you're against us"-mode. As if he needed CK's approval or some shit... fuck that guy for becoming a professional attention whore.
