Over the years, I've come to identify cockblockers standard mentality-it never fails to reveal itself even beyond the usual setting of the club,lounge,office mixer etc etc. Usually he can be confirmed by his general bitchass behaviours before women come into the mix saving time pain and anger:
1.The cockblocker is stingy,he never buys drinks-he'll jump through a thresher rather than pay for other peoples drinks.
2.Generally he welshes on bets whenever possible;only the presence of witnesses forces him to pay.
3.The dude ,on the surface is everyone's BFF,but has a bitchlike pleasure in backbiting and tattling like a hormonal 14 year old school girl.
4.Ohh yeah,directly related to this a desire to arguefy everyfuckingthing in the world to death,preferably in public. His opinions on abortion,global warming,whale hunting or spotted owl conservation must be made known to his mum,friends,acquaintances,neighbours and even perfect strangers.
Once I notice strong indicators of 3 of these general assholery indicators, 9 times out of 10,the nigga is a cockblocker.

I was just watching a show on National Geographic "Wild" that shows even dolphins cockblock. Two males will actually swim with a female in their pod and hold her "hostage" to make sure males from outside the group don't bang her. They want to insure that no male outside the pod father's her offspring. She'll mate with multiple males within the pod, but they don't want an outsider to drop seed. Unfortunately for human cockblockers, it's already been determined that they aren't going to fuck, and because they know that, they try to stop other cats from fucking her out of jealousy.
