At least in the Brazilian middle class, only fat women chase (handsome) men.

In my experience women only genuinely chase if they deem your value significantly higher than herself.

Otherwise they are trying to make someone jealous male or female.
They are attention whores or social status climbers, male thirst their currency.
You have something to offer she cannot resist or she is looking to trap, extract something from or manipulate you for personal gain.

The fact that women are attention prostitutes explains the fact that fat women chase beautiful men in the Brazilian middle class...

What is easier for fat women to get people's attention? To get a handsome man with low self-esteem or to lose weight?
