RVF alternatives for banned subjects after June 1
As I said in the other thread, I am 100% behind Roosh's decision and wish him all the best, and will be sticking around as normal. However, there's stuff we need to keep talking about, and this won't be the place for them starting June 1. So where should we go to do it? I invite everyone's suggestions, and I will start us off with mine: Orgy of the Will: A Philosophy of the Future: http://orgyofthewill.net/

Here are some nuggets to give you an idea of the site's philosophy:

Quote:846. People ask "what has philosophy accomplished" as if their whole society isn't predicated on innoculating unwitting idiots with primitive philosophical axioms. We were feral before philosophy. All science is merely applied epistemology.

Quote:843. The only afterlife you should be concerned with is the world you leave your children.

Quote:842. If you went to ancient Greece or Rome, and told the guys there the bs Krauser peddles on his blog every day that, "Your value as a man can be gauged by how women respond to you", you'd have been laughed at. It is MEN who judge men's value, not women. Even for getting women, you had to convince the MEN to give them to you in those days — at no point was a woman's opinion consulted. The mere fact that, in gauging men's value, Krauser and his ilk CONSIDER WOMEN'S OPINIONS AT ALL is PROOF POSITIVE that these dudes are gammas. It is laughable.

Quote:823. Everyone's behavior is consistent from their own point of view. The most egregiously jagged line looks straight if you are short-sighted enough; and conversely, there are people of such subtlety who theorized — even before the invention of magnifying lenses and microscopes — that lines that look perfectly straight to them were, in fact, jagged.

Quote:818. It is astonishing to me that popularizing scribblers like Dawkins et al. still adhere to a fundamental difference between "facts" and "opinions" over a hundred years after relativity theory, in which observers moving with different speeds (i.e. everyone, since we are all ultimately "moving with different speeds") can't even agree on what time of the day it is, let alone on anything more complex. In modern physics, the time of the day or the dimensions of an object, or its speed, or any other attribute of it whatsoever, are a matter of opinion, dear popularizing scribblers! and it is a disgrace that you, who have taken it upon yourselves to explain modern science to the general public, still fail to grasp this, despite all the pompous titles you hold and academic chairs you occupy between you. Nietzsche had already grasped it several decades before relativity ("There are no facts, only interpretations"), and without any mathematics, but if you blockheads still fail to grasp it even with math you should be made to eat the stupid dogmatic books with which you are poisoning the public's mind in the name of a naive, simplistic "objectivity"! (On the other hand, relativity theory is "Continental", since it was created by a German, and after all it's "merely a theory", without which our spacecraft wouldn't function, among many other things, and that's why the "pragmatic", "realist" Anglo-Saxons like Dawkins and his ilk are still stuck on Medieval Newtonian physics lol — and that's a fact, retards!)

Quote:796. Is the truth to the Right or to the Left? — The "truth" is the continued functioning and maximization of productivity of any given society, for this is the objective of societies: production, not a pissing contest for the victory of some abstract-theoretical ideology. So at any given point in time the "truth" is on precisely that mixture of Right and Left policies that allows the society to function at its maximum rate of productivity. Everything else is "ideology" — and pretty stupid ideology at that too.

The forum is not free, but the value of the content and the level of discourse make the price well worth it for me.

So that's my contribution. I look forward to everyone's suggestions, and will be checking out all of them thoroughly.

Naughty Nomad, and Swoop The World Single Man's Paradise both have forums for game / travel discussion. Though I don't frequent either, so cannot comment on their current quality.

If this were a saner world, people would take this opportunity to make blogs and band together to reinforce each other's blogging habits, commenting and so forth (naturally self hosting, none of that free SV shit that feeds the censor egos). Doing so would move the discussion out of one man's forum and move the discussion men's individual online castles. This would allow each man to maintain their castle in a way that follows their conscience while boosting censorship resistance in the space. It also takes the pressure off of any one man to try holding everything on their back as Roosh has had to.

RE: RVF alternatives for banned subjects after June 1
I'm casually contemplating the creation of a men's forum that focuses on general lifestyle-improvement and finding quality and value in all areas, from work to travel to style to personal finance to relationships to, yes, family. The theme would be narrowly targeted to personal development and people would be welcome to bring political and religious perspectives to that, but would need to avoid "decline of civilization" naval-gazing - which I think is interesting, but doesn't really rescue anybody from themselves, IMO, and exacerbates incel/black pilling/MGTOW. If the cabin is depressurizing, you have to figure out how to get your own oxygen mask on first. It would also avoid broad "PUA" topics like cold approaching, but instead focus on building better relationship skills overall.

We'd also be able to say "fuck" and "tits" freely.

My only concern is that forums in general are not a strong niche and even a mainstream men's site would attract enough hostility that I'd want to research adequately anonymous hosting options. Should be noted that none of this is intended to detract from RVF, I intend to continue posting here, although I suspect I'll have far less to contribute.

If you have Bitcoin and are willing to use GPG to identify yourself as the customer, I do hosting in Uruguay. A GPG public key is all the ID you need. Sales and customer service happen in the channel #pizarro on Freenode.

If you don't have Bitcoin or want to do the very useful GPG thing, there's other providers out there as well. If there's one thing we learned from the Heartiste incident, free speech can't afford free hosting. If there's one thing we learned from Roosh's enlightenment, everybody who wants to speak is well advised to maintain their own online presence in addition to whatever forums they frequent.

Forums are great for meeting people and may have some value in growing movements. At some point though people gotta put their own voice on their own platform if they want to have any more weight.

The issue with anonymous posting is the exact same thing you got with 4chan. You then have no accountability, nor can you create a community.

RE: RVF alternatives for banned subjects after June 1
I'm not looking for anonymous posting, but rather anonymous hosting. I used to run a conservative political blog and realize that there are no shortage of nutty people on both sides of that divide, the horny right-wing chicks socially engineering my phone number - even without a picture - was weird enough.

I'm looking into Njalla and similar, just to avoid a disaster. I realize that sounds a little paranoid, but we've all seen what Roosh went through and I think we all realize that it's only gotten worse out there. Many "lad mag" sites have had to rein it in to the point of being no fun at all. Maxim printed a goofy one-pager fifteen years ago about "how to cure a feminist" and it still gets recycled for outrage points today, so now they focus on shiny toys their readers can't afford. Men's Journal doesn't appear to link their sex and relationships content from the home page at all.

With all that said, I'm also not interested in moderating, or even helping to moderate, 127 threads on ethnostates, (((the conspiracy))), and race theory. I get that's where a lot of peoples' heads are at, but the Everything Else subforum is alive and well and I've always felt that it just serves to alienate a lot of guys who are trying to live good lives and would benefit from more focused knowledge. I'd really rather a forum where men can unite around a shared love of big Jewish titties and swap tips on how to do Tel Aviv properly. Topics along the lines of "Playboy before it sucked" + Tomassi. I don't want a new project to step on Roosh's toes, either, but I also don't think it should, since he's stepping back freely.

I don't know, I'm mulling it over. I've gotten some PMs and am not responding yet, but not ignoring them.

WestIndianArchie (most rep points outside of Roosh) has a good blog.

Props to archie, knew what was coming years ago and set up shop elsewhere. He also stopped sharing his wisdom anywhere but the moma thread for a reason...

I visit Girls Chase every now and then, specifically for Chase Amante's posts -- to say he's a good writer would be an understatement. He's WIA-level (imo) good. They've also got a forum but it's not as big as this one.

I hope guys like WIA, Giovonny and many others that were massive assets will consider re-appointing whenever a new platform comes to the foreground. I like the idea of Jetset, it could definitely work, but I'm sure there other members who think alike and some might already be putting something in motion. If that is the case then I hope there will be some coordination in the background as the last thing we need right now is a whole bunch of alternatives coming up further dividing the community.

RE: RVF alternatives for banned subjects after June 1
I don't know how safe things like discord or IRC are these days, but it might be worth a bunch of interested, high rep, old school members organising some kind of channel like this amongst themselves via PMs so they can discuss how to set up an alternative site more efficiently (and privately).

As has already been said, all the high-value posters coming together and creating their own space would be a boon. But 20 different guys starting 20 different competing sites would be a disaster and hamper the potential momentum such an idea could otherwise generate.

My advice: any organising you do, keep it amongst high rep guys who you've met (ideally), or else who have been solidly confirmed by plenty of meetups with other members. That precludes guys like me whose rep points come from glib one-liners and EE-posting. Everyone involved in the organising should be able to trust everybody else, absolutely no infiltrators.

My two cents.

While I don't mind if people sharing links to external forums, openly organizing to leave the forum or supplant it is tasteless and shows a lack of respect for what the forum has given each of you during the time it didn't conflict with your sexual needs.

You are free to do this sort of thing through PM or in your private offline groups.
