I've ran into a few girls from Alaska recently. One of them had quite an "eskimo" look which I found nice.

I've never heard Alaska being mentioned here, but as some of you have a taste for "off the beaten track" places for girls etc. I wonder if there is anything that could be said about such place.

I heard of its natural wonders and beauty... but any comments on the female population at all? Or anything else worth knowing for that matter?

This is the first thread on Alaska, haven't found any using the search function.

You might be the first person I've ever heard call the eskimo look attractive. Generally speaking, Alaskan Natives are not attractive people.

I lived in Alaska for a couple of years and it might be one of the worst places on earth. It's much worse than DC. The fact that there's so many more men than women just really screws up the whole dynamic. The women have too much choice and it makes them flaky. Getting laid consistently in Alaska basically requires that you severely lower your standards, approach as much as possible, and not give a fuck.

The only good thing about Alaska from a pickup perspective is that the woman are pretty easy and don't seem to mind cheating. The saying is, "you don't lose your girlfriend, you only lose your turn." Of course, this means that mad women have kids and STDs. Basically, any woman worth anything either gets the hell out of Alaska or gets wifed up not long after they hit adulthood.

Well, I ran into a sample size of -two- Alaskan girls. One gave me her number and flaked.

But she had an interesting look, she was around a 6 but I thought that maybe where she comes from it could be better. Enough to get me curious.

And I've seen dazzling images of Alaskan landscape, and, as usual, I'm interested in native spirituality, shamanism, and I think Alaska could be a place of interest for some research on that. A future trip, who knows.

I had no idea it was that bad girl-wise; too bad...

At least we have something now in the forum for the unwary traveler!

Yea man, it's really worth a visit here. The coast is amazing, but if you're into taking the less traveled path, I would go see the Brooks Range. If you do end up coming up here, be super careful with the girls, we have some of the highest STD rates around.

I flew into Anchorage a few years ago to set up a business bank account and had a really good time. Its a great scenic ride by taxi from the airport and the weather was actually really nice in April.

Rolled into a restaurant/bar and within an hour was hitting bars one after another with a few locals and guys there on business. One bar had a big wheel of cheese that everyone eats from and a hot bartender chick bought me a beer, saying it was from her friend. The friend was a really cute local blonde dressed in all leather but in a sexy way. She thought i looked like Edward Cullin or some shit and wanted to see if I sounded British.

About 6 bars later, I was basically blacked out but apparently met the girl again and told her I new she would be back. My last memory that night was ending up at her place drinking champagne. The next morning I woke up next to the cute blonde, who apparently gave me lapdances and blew me for a few hours before we fucked. Kinda sad I don't remeber that part. I ended up staying with her the next few nights until flying home.

I would say that its pretty easy to get attention if you're a good looking guy, as the locals didn't seem to have much game or style. I remember multiple times having a local girl try to grab me up in a desperate way. The problem is that most of the girls are not attractive at all, and really I just got lucky ending up with one of the hotter girls around.

Also its pretty clear that the cuter girls tend to sleep around a lot. The saying around town is "you don't lose you're girlfriend, you just lose your turn" and this came from the girl I fucked.

As for accomodations, even the crappy hotels are $90 a night. My girl laughed at where I was staying, and told me to pack my stuff up and stay with her.

There's also supposedly an amazing full nude strip club called Bush Company. Girls are said to fly in from Eastern Europe and around the world to dance and I heard that condoms are all over the floors after it closes. This came straight from the locals.

Overall, its a great place to get away for tons of bars, drinking, and debauchery, but not the best for picking up locals. There just aren't that many decent looking girls around.

I just had a convo with a coworker about rough the locals are in AK. Harsh environments breed harsh men.

@Armour Fou- If you're interested in the native variety but want to step it up a notch here's a little gem I'll drop on you.

Avoid AK and concentrate on tribes in the U.S. I grew up on the Eastern Band Cherokee lands and had my fill of the girls there. The majority of Cherokee tribe was marched to Oklahoma on the Trail of Tears. The nation there is much larger.

Walking onto tribal lands is like stepping back in time. The only reason most have diversified unfortunately is due to casino's. NO ONE goes to the rezzie's to pull tail. No one. A slick, good looking Brazilian playa with a suave accent would absolutely KILL it on just about any nation in the U.S.

If you are interested pick a region in the U.S. that you are genuinely interested in. Then find a nation in that area and concentrate your efforts on their lands. Colorado and Western N. Carolina are two good choices. The more secluded the nation the better chance you'll have of pulling. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY from the U.S. goes to Oklahoma unless they have to, needless to say foreigners too, so your exotic would be pegged there. Problem is their ain't shit in OK, so don't bitch me out when you get there. You've been warned.

There are also a lot of tribes in the N.E. corridor in the U.S., and if you washed out NYC is a stones throw, so you could fall back on Washington Heights for Brazil chicks, or swing into Jackson Heights and woo the latinas with Portuguese.

If you decide to take this route, let me know and I'll break down how to smash the squaws. You'll find them to be hotter than Eskimo's.

You would not be welcomed just barging onto a reserve looking for tail. The men would tear you apart in a matter of hours. I have spent time on reserves in Northern Alberta and Saskatchewan - They are literally living in 3rd world conditions for the most part with typical small town problems of STDs and random shit popping off.

You can pull from tribes if you have a in, or know the people personally. Aboriginals play dumb/games all the time, they will lead you on and turn on you for jokes. I grew up with them also, they play games with your mind, they like mind-fukin people. The whole rez could set you up then laugh at you when you peace out lol. They don't give a fuck.

Black dudes do got higher status on the rez though, I don't know why, but I did always get treated like a king up there. My guess is hip-hop culture and the connect we have of prior oppression.

I rode my motorcycle around Alaska, Yukon, NW Territories last summer. Of all the places in Alaska, Ketchikan was the best for chicks. I ended up staying for a few days longer than I had planned. There was a good little festival at a lake north of town. Everyone was in good spirits and the women were very easy going.

The ratios are pretty bad but among the under 30 crowd many are just college kids looking for money for the summer. They get pretty trashed and I would just post at the bar and sip a whiskey chatting to whoever. Interesting people up there, no doubt. I had some good fun with a cougar in Ketchikan and a cute little Quebecois girl at my campsite in Whitehorse.

Dawson city and Whitehorse had a decent amount of cute girls, though smaller than Anchorage had much hotter women. I spent a week in Whitehorse during the summer equinox (no darkness) and had a blast. Everyone there is so damned friendly.

You wont see Inuit (Eskimo) until you are up around the Beaufort Sea. Maybe the odd one escaping the grinding poverty or heading south for work. Many of the Chiefs up there on the Canadian side have made the villages "dry", meaning no alcohol. An Inuit dude from Cambridge bay told me that smuggled in Smirnoff can be as much as $200 a bottle. Some kids huff gasoline.

Go there for nature. The cities are just dusty places to stock up on supplies and get drunk with other humans.

Never been to Juneau, so take this with a grain, but my Alaskan experience tried to get in as much as I could, and Juneau is very far away from any other part of Alaska. It is way at the bottom closer to Canada, and from what I remember (things could have def changed) is that it is hard to get in or out unless you have a bush plane. Its just really far from everything else. People do not realize that Alaska is 2.5 times the size of Texas. That is an incredibly huge amout of land. Its why something like 50% of Alaskans have a pilots liscense...Im sure that number is lower than 50% now...but I was all around Anchorage, Fairbanks, Whittier, and a lot of time spent in Denali. It is for sure an awesome place to go, absolutely stunning/pristine. But not for the chicks. Please do not go for the chicks. My god don't do it!

Juneau is great I say go. Its the capital so there is an interesting vibe to the place. Its completely locked so the only ways in are by plane or boat. There is an old Indian trading path that goes back to Atlin (Juneau is essentially inside Canada) and is supposed to be an amazing 10 day hike.

In town take a ride up to the glacier and do some exploring up there. Lots of locals up there playing with their dogs.

There are some good pubs and like Ketchikan they are staffed with students from the mainland up there to take advantage of the high wages and adventure.
