Luckystar, have you wrote anywhere about your experiences in Russia? I think it would be a good resource for non-white guys to hear some actual first-hand experience instead of just hearsay (of eastern europe also).

I showed up at a Russian club in Moscow on a Friday night, me and an American guy that looked southern European. Went up to the bouncer, was told we needed to be on the list.

Next night, Saturday, showed up at the exact same club, slightly better dressed, but this time accompanied by a Russian guy (clearly well educated and well dressed), and a German guy very fashionably dressed. When asked if we were on the list, the Russian guy smiled and said no in a very confident manner. We were let in with no problem. Ratio was pretty decent at the place.

But the general rule is that you need to be with girls to get in. It's all about the ratio.

Its funny because the first thought that came to my mind when seeing this thread were the clubs in Lebanon. But yea it was all about ratio control. If you were there very early then you had a chance, otherwise you needed women to get in.

As a black man I have lots of experience with face control in Toronto. They think your going to shoot up the place so they find any reason to not let you. The best way around that is to go with a large group of whoever they are letting in. If they are letting in only russians, they try to find 2-3 russians willing to go with you, they are not going to single you out or pull that private party guest list shit when your friend behind and infront of you just got in.

Is this only a Russian thing? And would having a Russian friend help my odds? I don't care about snobby clubs but these three seemed to have better ratios from what I could see.

There are places like this here in Sao Paulo as well...very snobish,full of shit.... You need to know the right people to get in.
