RE: How to Improve Immune System, get sick less often?
Alecks - I went up to musclepharms headquarters (crazy 25000 sqr feet of training space) to train in camp with Rampage for his fight with Jon Jones, They really do have a lot of great products. My only complaint is some of them are heavy with dye...
Caligula - I go to swansonvitamins.com for nadh, they have sales all the time and even without their prices are usually pretty good, if you find something cheaper let me know. It's a very fragile supplement. You have to take it before you eat and let it dissolve under your tongue and then wait about 15 minutes, it's worth it though. I take it first thing in the morning.
G - I'm taking about 10 grams per day, you have to build up a tolerance for it otherwise you will be blowing up the toilette. I used to inject it. I would buy liquid vitamin c from an online vet source but that just became too annoying. The interesting thing is though, when you are sick, your body can handle so much more because it's craving it. Read that study I posted, it's actually really neat. Trader Joes sells a powdered form without all the fillers and other bs that put into pills. I put a few grams at a time into a diet 7up or something that would compliment that citrisey taste.
The idea that your body just flushes what it doesn't need is wrong in regards to c. You NEED higher does for your body to function better, your digestive system just isn't ready for it at high does to begin with. Take it slow though.

If anyone is concerned about their liver, a liver flush is supposed to be good. I am going on a 30 day colon cleanse and parasite cleanse here shortly, and I will finish it with a liver flush. I am a newb at this, so I'll let you know how it goes.
Supposedly, when you do a liver flush your gallbladder and liver eliminate stones. Green fucking stones. I can't imagine they are healthy and people report flushing a ton of these things out. Just Google "coke liver flush" and read up on it. Bonus if you click on images and take a look.
Personally, I also like Dr. Schulz, an American herbalist, and it's his colon cleanse I'll be doing. His number one recommended herb for health is garlic. Apparently he claims garlic is natures number one anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal herb and that eating five thumb size cloves of garlic per day is what he considers the minimum. I am pretty sure that you have to chew them though.

You might want to try bee Pollen, but make sure it's from as close to home as possible. The theory is that bees gather pollen from the surrounding plants, including which one(s) you're allergic to. By taking it, your body is getting slow exposure to these allergens, and learning to tolerate it.
I used to get struck down with hayfever like clockwork as soon as the days started heating up in spring, but since taking a teaspoon full each morning, I haven't had a problem since. It's cheap (about $10 for 500g from my local makret) plus theres all sorts of enzymes, amino acids and shit contained in it that may or may not be beneficial. Just whatever you do, DON"T CHEW IT, just wash it down like you would a pill. To say it tastes like shit would be an understatement.

You will have more energy without the nasty buzz of caffeine. I take the 20mg pill. This substance will have your whole body functioning at a higher level. My body was so shot, I noticed it instantly. Your immune system will love you. Plus, it enhances the other vitamins you take. Seriously fucking awesome.
ZMA- This supplement produces a deeper sleep. I'm sponsored by musclepharm and they have a product called BULLETPROOF, it has all sorts of herbs in addition to ZMA that produce a deep restful sleep.
I've been using ZMA for a few weeks and it does help me sleep better. Also tried NADH for a few days now and I feel great. Really helps me feel focused and energized.
Another good one is cordyceps, a medicinal mushroom. It's supposed to help the immune system and it makes me less hungry and tired. I get it here http://www.alohamedicinals.com/cordyceps.html
And here are a bunch of medical studies about it http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed?term=cordyceps

RE: How to Improve Immune System, get sick less often?
For me, I used to get sick pretty easily in winter until I started taking 2,000 IUs of Vitamin D, and 1,000 grams of Vitamin C. Now I get sick way less, and only if I do something like drink alchohol etc. I also take ACV and get a good amount of greens each day, and I avoid unhealthy foods.
I got sick recently because of a weekend of drinking, I took 3,000 grams of Vitamin D, 375 mg of Echinacea, 50 mg of Zinc daily, and ACV daily for a few days. I had a fever for a while but the cold resolved itself pretty quickly.
I got sick on Sunday, took a few days from school, and I started feeling a lot better by Thursday. Right now I still have a slight cold.
Previous winters I would have definitely been out of commission for a full week and it would have been a lot worse.
