What's up, guys!

Anyone know any FREE online dating sites for Germany? I am planning a trip to Germany soon and I want to meet some girls before I go.

I'm currently experimenting with two:

http://www.friendscout24.de and http://www.badoo.com, both are free and there are quite a few others, e.g. http://www.finya.de

Quality in general is not very good, with friendscout being slightly better than badoo. I think online dating has quite a stigma in Germany unlike in EE where you can see attractive girls galore.

I'll second this, the quality overall is better than say pof for instance, but there's a noticable shortage of hotties
interestingly, many of the women i've come across are reasonably fit/slim/athletic but with quite plain faces, not many who i would describe as cute or pretty

here's a suggestion, if you are into music
set up a last.fm profile and check for any gigs in/near the locations you are going to be in
then have a look at the other users who are attending the gig and hit them up saying 'hey i noticed you're going to see 'artist name' too, etc' and often you will get some kind of reply (particularly if you're not from the country itself i find) and you can angle it towards meeting up before the gig, maybe ask her to bring a couple friends too, and go from there
the quality at some of these gigs can be surprisingly good, especially if you're into any of arty/hipster/alt/goth chicks
indie acoustic singer songwriter guys often do well in germany
eg. guys like william fitzsimmons/iron & wine/ben kweller are very popular with german girls, check if them or any of their 'similar artists' are playing while you're in germany

lablue.de and finya.de are free
but honestly these sites are shit, Online Dating is considered for losers here. hot cihcks are rare on these dating sites and i know lots of hot chicks wont even consider online dating.

I've had some decent results with POF. The quality isn't too bad either.

I would recommend Internations as well. The Munich Group is very active and has events about every week. I've never had time to attend any, but I've communicated with some hotties from there.

Dude, I have pulled tons of women on MySpace back when it was still popular. I am talking about 8's and 9's. Online dating used to be hot. I was getting pussy left and right. Online dating is good for getting lays, but that's what I am looking for. I don't want a girlfriend. I will do the girlfriend thing in reality.

You know it's really too bad myspace went belly up. Around its peak in 2006 or so, it was a gold mine for meeting chics. I'd have chics randomly messaging me because they found me interesting. That shit is impossible with Facebook.

If myspace was still big, I'd use that to pipeline when I went overseas.

yeah friendscout seems to be the best place to pull right now. I mostly get 7's and 8's that send me winks and shit. there are hotter chicks than that on there but you've gotta have good german game.

I would say the the reason for lack of quality german girls on these sites is the same for the lack of quality americans girls: The state of the general population.

Online dating is still frowned upon by most people in Germany. In Germany girls joining these sites therefore are more desperate ( i.e. unattractive, old) than girls in Russia and EE/FSU.

We get lots of German backpacker girls coming to Australia. What would be the best way (other than couch-surfing or being an Airbnb host) of finding them before they arrive in Australia so I could be their first point of contact in Australia? It would give me an advantage compared to being the 20th local guy they met (i.e. the girls that are already here).

"Germans in Australia" or something like that. They have a group for New York they should have one for Aus also.

Yeah no one really does that in the German speaking world. Day game is the best in large cities for high quality.

Not sure if srs... German girls are way fitter than american girls. They also benefit from being taller so it doesnt hurt them as much when they pack a few extra kg's.
