Post Of The Day

I feel exactly the same way. Ron Paul has a huge chance of winning because his anti-war stance is very popular with the left. He's radical enough to attract democrats and republicans.

Romney is a fucking empty suit, he'll be crushed by Obama. I think I'd vote for Obama over Romney, because the Republican party should be ashamed for turning down Paul. They don't deserve the presidency when they elect cocksuckers like Romney.

If Ron Paul ran against Obama he wouldn't win. Some of his views are so far out of the political mainstream that he'd undoubtedly lose key swing states like Florida and Ohio. However when Romney gets the Republican nomination my moneys on him beating Obama.

Which ones?

The media mainstream controlled by the elites?

Or the American people?

Both.

The elite wouldn't support abolishing the Federal Reserve for sure. And also his policy of non-intervention in regards to Israel if it were attacked.

However his desire to completely shutdown bodies like the Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Education, FEMA and other government agencies would not find the support of the American people. Also, his staunch pro-life views hypocritical considering his otherwise libertarian views, which damages cred amongst liberals.

You've been a Republican all of your life? Listen to the judge, and please think about what being a Republican means today, and what it meant when it was founded. You'll find that your party has sold it's soul to the same corporate interests that have bought the Democrats.

A buddy of mine posted this video on Facebook yesterday. I have never heard anything on Fox News before that was anywhere close to this intelligent and I'm shocked they allowed this segment to air. Every single motherfucker in this country needs to watch this.

Fox news is the best of the main american news outlets imo. Even though they are right wing they show both sides of story, atleast in some shows.

Santorum is a little too right wing Christian for me. the whole focus shouldnt be on guns, gays, and god, but on the economy and for that I think Romney is way ahead of Santorum or Obama.

I love Ron Paul but I think the American people are too stupid to elect him. The same group of people who ran around in 2008 screaming about hope and wearing "change" shirts aren't bright enough to figure out who would actually bring it to them.

I'm curious to see who he chooses as VP. That's going to be important. It would be interesting if he tapped Marco Rubio from Florida to take that role. Might be a competitive ticket.

It's now official, John Huntsman is running behind Romney.

One thing that hasn't been mentioned on this thread I think needs to be brought to everyone's attention.

By voting, you give your consent to be governed.

Do you want to be governed by some bureaucrat that couldn't give a shit about anything other than his petty power and the money that you pay as a taxpayer to employ him or would you rather have the fruits of your own labor and govern yourself?

That's why I never vote. Nothing good can come from it.

A man should look for what is, and not for what he thinks should be.

If gays want to get married I really couldnt care any less. I think gays are stupid for wanting to get married because thats going to create a whole set of issues they probably dont realize are coming (alimony, etc) but if they want to more power to them.

People from the Southern states don't like gays. Besides, a lot of NBA players hate on gays too, there is really nothing wrong with hating them.

Besides, god hates fags.

Let's not go off-topic however, this is a thread about the election, and not gays.

No. I'm not a closet homosexual. I'm a guy who understands that you can't deny HUMANS basic human rights. That's how it starts. Then it's ok to discriminate. Then it's ok to isolate. Then it's ok to murder, enslave, or whatever else you feel like doing because they're not like "us". When you believe in freedom you have to learn to leave people alone that aren't harming you, or others.

PS. SimonReirdon, you just got that much cooler.

So its ok to hate on gays because NBA players hate on gays also? Using the logic of what a bunch of spoiled coddled millionaires who usually end up broke find ok as a way to live your life isn't really something i recommend. but to each his own.

For a person that supposedly "hates" gays, you seem to talk about them a lot.

Are they always on your mind?

Are you sure you don't secretly love them, like most people who say they "hate" them do?

Please advise.

Actually don't. I am not interested.

Why I really hate gays? In case you haven't noticed I am Middle-Eastern, half-Turkish, half-Bahraini, and I'm muslim. We are brought up to hate gays.

Read my comments closely again skippy.

And I will take your non-answer to the question "Are you sure you don't secretly love them, like most people who say they "hate" them do?"

As a yes.

One would think that your being from a group that is unfairly hated on around the world and in America, you would be more open minded to other groups.

I guess I am wrong.

I will tell you again, hate will get you nowhere.

And really has no place on this forum.
