I got the number of this FOB Venezualan chick and we agreed to go to a language meetup on Saturday. Texted her and got a reply.
Tried calling her on Monday but no answer. I thought she was a flake and figured I'd try again today.

She texted me today asking about the language meetup. I called her up and no answer. I just texted her its next Tuesday(I thought it was tomorrow but it was today and I missed it).

I'm thinking she's trying to use me to meet new people, and in all honesty If she's not interested in me I'd love to meet some of her friends(sexy feminine latinas that are rare in feminist Toronto). Initial interaction was solid imo, a day game approach that lasted around half an hour.

Maybe I waited too late to call(2 days).

Any opinions on the situation?

speaking on the phone is intimidating if you don't speak the language, you can't rely on body language to get your message across. Maybe she isn't comfortable on the phone.


Most girls text all the time anyway, if it bothers you that much than push the subject, if not just use texting

Texting is so commonplace now. This 40yo chick I bang once in a while told me she never talks on the phone anymore and I take her out of her comfort zone anytime I call her to talk.

Texting is quick and convenient but it adds an emotionally disconnected barrier for girls to hide behind. I'm torn at the moment over it's cost vs benefit.

People in/from other countries tend to text exclusively (because voice calls are usually very expensive).

Of course this no longer applies when they're in the U.S. (and presumably Canada) but their way of doing things doesn't change instantly.
