RE: Battle of the Titans: Toronto VS DC
I have a question for the guys who live in those cities. Does being used to working so hard for decent ass at home turn you into a super playa in other places in US and Canada?

You rarely hear about guys having these problems in FL which has another concentration of members here. Have any of you been here and noticed a huge difference? Or Socal?

It's definitely a lot easier when I go to Miami, Montreal, Paris, etc

But the quality of the girls seems to be around the same, minus of course places like Miami and Stockholm, they're on a different level.

Living in Toronto makes you a bit hard when you go out. Women have attitude so in turn I have a bigger attitude and that attracts them. The trouble is they expect so much and I am not out to impress them.I would not say you become a super playa, you learn to choose your targets better. Also you reach a point where you just don't care and women sense that.
I am a bit lazy also after travelling to Scandinavia and being able to pull much better ass with minimal effort.

I have met and personally know MANY beautiful, lady-like and amazing women who live in Toronto. The thing about Toronto is 95% of the people you meet will be from elsewhere around the world, meaning they most likely (if they were raised correctly) have those values you mentioned in your post. It's not like the girls here are born and bred Canadian Toronto girls, they are 95% international, they have culture and they carry the values and morals that their background has taught them.

I was born in Toronto but raised in France and Lebanon, and then back to Toronto, so I know the difference between 3 separate areas of the world pretty well. Toronto really is a good city both to live in and in terms of women. Now it isn't on the same level as Miami, NYC, Stockholm, etc, but it definitely is in the middle of the pack instead of on the bottom of the list! Many many quality girls in Toronto! Obviously like every other city Toronto has its nasty girls you don't want to waste your time on, and maybe it has more of them than the average city, but I also think it has more quality girls than the average city because of all the different cultures you find walking around downtown.

I don't agree with this depiction of Toronto at all.

Firstly, Toronto girls are not 95% international. This is utterly preposterous to state. The highest percentage I have found states 52%. Most state around one third.

Secondly, we all know it only takes a couple years for that girl from Colombia or Russia to get the western disease of entitlement. No matter where a girl is from, over and over we see that they become tainted by the western women around them and the ego starts to inflame.

Thirdly, to really understand the defects of gaming Toronto you have to look carefully at the local demographics and cultures of the city. Toronto nightlife is horribly plagued with 905ers (mainly from the northside - Richmond Hill, Thornhill, Woodbridge (the worst offenders). These suburban girls may come from ethnic backgrounds, but they have been groomed into spoiled princesses - they are taken care of by there parents until they are 30 and catered to by local ginos that stroke their egos. For all the time they invest to look good, they are still substandard to most major cities. They aren't cultured (sorry but being an ethnic Canadian in suburbia doesn't qualify) and they have little class (it is the anti-thesis of the politeness and charm of EE girls demeanor towards guys).

Don't get me wrong, I get laid in Toronto. But my issue becomes, how much do I have to self myself out to do it, and how much BS do I have to accept in return. Take a look at the guys who get laid in Toronto...there are 2 types: 1) guys with good game (the minority) 2) cheesy lame suburban douche bags that put this substandard pussy on pedestals (the majority).

What does it say about the quality of Toronto girls when they consistently cannot identify the winners from the losers? That they themselves are losers.

To clarify Luckystars report,,,,, ginos are the male form of italian canadian,,, ginas the feminine... one who is born of italian descent. Gina is the feminine. This is compared to the guido or guida in the states, or a tony and maria they have in australia..... However, these terms don't exist in ITALY,,,, just for those of italian descent in these immigrant nations.

Toronto people like to blame others for their own problems like 905ers..... For those who don't know,, 905 and other 3 digit numbers are area codes outside of Toronto. The area code for Toronto is 416 officially, yet other numbers due to none being availabe have been used by cell phone provideders in the Toronto area.

There are the same people living in Toronto as there are living in the suburbs.... You will have women who are entitled living everywhere.... Makes no difference. The area is considered the same. I believe that without the suburbanites coming to Toronto it would be the same if not worse.

Folks, lets look objectively now..... Toronto is not an old city, nor is it something special. It is the capital city of a province, has a population of a few million, and terrible weather most of the year. It is home to many different nationalities and cultures which has its positives and negatives. Can you pick up women here, yes. Will women be DTF as much as other locales, no. There are outliers of course, but its no cake walk.

Toronto is still home to new immigrants, first and second generation immigrants who still hold to their roots from the "old country". I have met a few from Maryland (close to DC ,, maybe 905ers as Torontonians will call them) they are first generation indian, and stick to their own kind when dating etc.... Of course you will get snobbiness and bitch shields when you approach these types as they want their own kind. So, this factors into the hardship men face when picking up women. As for those men of a specifice ethnic group who date their own kind, have to jump through hurdles in order to date and marry a woman so to appease his own family. Once Toronto grows a few years older, and the generations pass, where you ahve 4th and 5th generation groups, you will have less of a tie to the old country and a tie to the new country. You will see women being more open DTF like it is in NYC or elsewhere, where immigrants are mainstreamed.

As MIXX said, when you take colombianas out of colombia, and place them in America, ,,, or in this case Toronto, they assume a different often negative attitude. It holds true with many of the immigrant women. This phenomenon exists elsewhere as well.... As, generations pass,,,,, it eases and picking up women becomes easier imho....

RE: Battle of the Titans: Toronto VS DC
Are girl's really better looking in Toronto? While I admit that they are not as obese as they are in DC (a lot of them are still fat), I always find their faces leave a lot to be desired, regardless of race. When you are the bottom in Toronto/Ontario where the girls are generally as overweight as DC, it feels a lot worse than being at the bottom in DC. Maybe once you're truly Alpha it gets significantly better in Toronto than DC.

Just as a counterpoint so no one screams racist, when I was in Seattle, I saw gorgeous girls of every color of the rainbow.

It's true that Toronto could be characterized the 'same' as many other places, but what makes the Toronto scene particularly distasteful are two things:

1) Real, true Canadian girls are very friendly and approachable. Outside of Toronto, dealing with girls is pleasure even though the girls are not drop dead gorgeous. Essentially, Toronto girls are no longer Canadian.

2) It was only a decade or so ago when Toronto had a cool scene with very friendly girls. It's incredible how quickly they became spoiled. That memory of 'glory days' makes what happened to Toronto women a terrible shame.

The criticism of 905ers is fair. An accurate snapshot of Toronto nightlife is essentially inviting the Monday night Highway 5 Moxy's crowd to Cheval on the weekend. It wasn't bad enough that Gino already spent the afternoon frenching the asses of the local Italian hairdresser or the Persian receptionist at Extreme, now he's going to continue stroking their ego in downtown Toronto on Saturday night. By the time a regular downtown guy meets these girls that night, Gino has already inflated their egos like Bonds on roids.

The suburban scene has made Toronto uncool. For a city the size of Toronto, its nightlife lacks the fashion and edginess that it should have. Just look at how quickly the Thompson got spoiled in Toronto. It only took one year for it to be riddled with Anthonys and Amirs from Woodbridge and Richmond Hill. Such a cool place with such lame people.

It's going to be hard coming back. At the same time, I will be more determined than ever to find new niches in TO. I won't except the status quo.

In Stockholm again, btw. The city really impresses me on a lot of levels.

_WED NOV 16, 2011_DATING DIARIES
Nicole & Edmund
BY: THE GRID

Nicole is a 31-year-old radio producer who lives on the Danforth. She says she’s outgoing, stubborn, smart and driven—“I always set goals for the future and reach almost all of them.” Nicole loves going to Jays and Argos games, bowling, mini-golfing and singing karaoke. Aside from a recent three-month relationship, she has been single for almost four years. She met Edmund on eHarmony.

After chatting online, Edmund called me to arrange a date. He seemed slightly nervous and awkward on the phone. A couple of days later we met at Union Station, because it was convenient. He was very slight, had light blond hair and was wearing simple clothes, just a sweatshirt and pants. He was attractive but looked really young, and he definitely seemed immature. I wondered if he’d lied about his age online.

He greeted me with a little gift bag. Inside was an origami bird that he’d made me. I thought it was really sweet, but also strange. Then he told me he’d chosen the colours for the bird based on those I was wearing in my profile pictures. I started to feel very off about the date.

We walked to a restaurant at Church and Front. Dinner was beyond awkward. When we sat down at the table, he pulled my chair out for me and every time I made an attempt to stand up, he would stand up too. When I mentioned that I was hungry, he flagged down a waitress and asked her to hurry up with my food. He kept telling me how pretty and nice I was, to the point where it was just too much. He agreed with me on everything: When I said I was a Jays fan, he said, “Then I’m a Jays fan, too.” He also claimed to like all the same television shows and movies as me.

After dinner, when we crossed the street, he put his arm out to “protect” me and made sure that he was guarding me from the cars. We walked back to Union and it took 10 minutes to convince him that I was fine to ride the subway home alone. I do it all the time! He hugged me goodbye and asked for a second date. I couldn’t say no right to his face, so I said I’d talk to him later.

Edmund called me the next night and we had an inane hour-long conversation, but I’m a wuss and couldn’t tell him that I didn’t want to go out with him again. Finally, after he sent several emails asking me what we were going to do next week, I replied and said I didn’t see us going anywhere. He emailed me back in a hysterical tone, saying I wasn’t giving him a chance and that we were meant to be. Then he started attacking my decision to “dump” him—even accusing me of insulting his cat (on our date I’d mentioned that I have an allergy). He started messaging me non-stop. I blocked him. Then I began receiving texts from him, which seemed almost delusional and very strange.

Two weeks later, when I thought I was free of him, I got a text that said, “Screw you and your Dear John letter!” I was scared, so I did what any smart woman would do: I called the Toronto Police. Let’s just say, I haven’t heard from him since.

Nicole rates her date (out of 10): 1

I can't have sex with your personality, and I can't put my penis in your college degree, and I can't shove my fist in your childhood dreams, so why are you sharing all this information with me?

Guys - this is a sick forum - I love how it has been overtaken by Torontonians loving and hating their home town.

The above is the key point though.

Having spent my teenage years in the bitchfest known as the Tdot raised my accuracy level beyond compare. If you learn how to strike on this battlefield called Toronto, it's like feeding racoons wet garbage ANYWHERE else.

I have been everywhere except Africa and Asia, and travel constantly and thank the stuck up Torontonian holier-than-thou biatches for having disciplined me to a game level that cannot be resisted almost anywhere.

As much as I hate to admit it there are insane quantities of gorgeous girls in Toronto, and if you like to sample every flavour (sp=CDN) the world has to offer, this is a nice safe place to get your rocks off, as long as you can pass the "what do you do?" test, which is deemed as an acceptable female opener - ONLY in Toronto.

DC=0
TO=0

Come on everyone - are we really on this site looking for places NOT to go?

1. If you think Toronto has an insane amount of gorgeous girls, I have land to sell you at the bottom of a river.

2. Nobody wants to be dating down or wasting their time, energy, or money. So, ya...knowing where not to go is beneficial.

This is so typical of a Toronto girl, right off the bat she screams high maintenance. I see so many of these type of online blind dates when I hang out in my local Starbucks, but yet girls are choosing these type of men to date.
I feel sorry for the guy, he was probably nervous but made alot of rookie "mistakes". The biggest mistake was showing too much interest on the date and pretending to have similar interests.

The women of TO can't be uglier than the chubsters of DC. DC wins on that alone.

^ yeah I gotta agree with that. We in DC have to deal with a lot of redneck women. Toronto has a tough standoffish vibe, but at least the women aren't rednecks, they're stylish.

RE: Battle of the Titans: Toronto VS DC
"I've always argued Toronto has no soul, no vibe, because its citizens fail to fill its soul with any type of substance."

This is a 100% accurate description of what's wrong with the city. I've lived in Toronto my entire life and up until about 5 years ago didn't have too many complaints. As I've gotten a bit older and seen lots of other cities around the world I've gradually grown to hate Toronto to the point where I've started planning my escape in the next few years. Some of the major issues I see with the city are:

1. Extremely expensive city that does not even come close to equating to the "standard" of living, meaning vibe, weather, people

2. Women who feel entitled to the world offering little value in return except for (in some cases) decent looks

3. Extremely unfriendly people, someone mentioned in a thread a while ago how it would be considered weird to chat up a stranger in a coffee shop, on the bus/subway, etc. while this is pretty accepted in other countries

4. Too many rules, sometimes I feel like I'm in a dictatorship, it's lots of small things that get to you over time

5. Weather, may just be personal but I fucking hate winter and it's quite bad here

Please feel free to add to the list. Just for disclosure - I've had success with the women of this city and am not some disgruntled guy, I just can't comprehend how any man that's well traveled can call this city an adequte place to live in.

I don't have a car unfortunately.....
In any case I'm still hitting up Eatons 4-5 days a week, its good training. I feel myself improving slowly and learning new things.

What's particularly interesting is how I love LA and cleaned up there when I live in SoCal (I remember you weren't really down with LA). Meanwhile, seems like you have TO and DC locked down. Maybe we just have the magic touch in these places.

RE: Battle of the Titans: Toronto VS DC
I had great sucess on vacations here too. Twice I was here before I moved and I was grabbing and pounding all types of lizards, this was before game and when I still got sloppy drunk and acted like a clown in bars.

Even when I first moved and was in vacation mode shit was all fine and dandy, but after a few months things went south quick.

I don't party at the same spots that I did on vacation, a lot of them closed down or I just realized they we're over-hyped and kinda wack. You'll go broke trying party at the Guv and shit every weekend trying pick up tweeked out broads from Richmond Hill -
I think that is the biggest diffidence between 'visiting' TO and 'living' here.

I hit up Brasaii a few weeks back and shit was mad wack. I can't stand punk ass Dj's and homeboy on the wheels was ultra wack. It didn't help that a grew board of the broads I was gaming and looked around only to see money chasers and 35 year olds. My homie and I threw up our hands in disgust and bounced to the Drake where shit was nice.

Both places generally had the same type of women. The vibe and scene was way different. Brassaii was a wastedump compared to the way more loose vibe of The Drake. Gaming in the two spots was like night and day.

The ROI on partying in these cliché spots each weekend is terrible. Why would I pay 25-30 bucks for cover or 100 bucks for a bottle when I can hit up a lounge on College for 5-10 bucks and game the same women? maybe i'm just a stingy African kid but that's just my reply to the post above. lol

Here we go.

Anyone who claims that DC is great for pickup should show us pics. Or at least tell us where you went.

Sorry Rak. I was doing a little Turkey Day Trolling. My intention was to post the pic of that horribly ugly red head chick plaguing the threads, but just couldn't make myself see it again. LOL. I'll stay off the thead and let you guys back at it. Angel
