Star Stylish clothes for bigger guys
So I just hit up Joseph A Banks on my way home from work tonight. I'm in the market for a nice new light colored suit and accessories.

The girl working measured me up. Ends up I'm a 50 Regular. She gave me a few blazers and sportcoats to try on. One black cashmere one I liked a lot. The light colored suits won't be in for a few more weeks.

My shirt size is 18 1/2 neck and 34/35 sleeve length. The only thing they had was some old man looking sport shirts. I usually pick up my dress shirts for work from Macy's but I'm looking for something more stylish that I can wear at the nicer bars and lounges. I'm looking for brighter colors, pinstripes and French cuffs. Anything that would look good with a light colored suit.

She referred me to another location they have with a better selection of suits. I'll check it tomorrow.

Short of going custom made ...where do the bigger guys on the forum shop?

I shop in America for big clothes. Fortunately, my city is only 2 hours from the border.

Bad comparison. They could drop 10,000 in a day on clothes and not give a shit, a big guy like me who's on a just-graduated budget isn't gonna be dropping more then $50 on one piece of clothing.

My big secret to finding clothes that fit as a guy over six-foot and over 200lbs, get in shape.

I lost a ton of weight and now I can rock fitted shirts all day long and look damn good. Before I was trying to hide a gut and accommodate big shoulders which just made me look like a potato.

I'm not worried so much about my gut. I fit comfortably in 38 waist pants. It's my big melon head and 18 1/2 inch Frankenstein neck that's the problem.

Size 50R? Man, that is big. You are either a lot more muscular than Lee Haney, or seriously overweight.

Arnold or Suge Knight wouldn't go anywhere, they had custom tailored suits, and the tailors came to them, be it at an airplane, their home, or on the studio set. This is how the majority of celebs get their threads.

Big N tall is the best place you can go short of either: a} losing weight and dropping down to a 46R or b} have money like Suge and Arnold and have things custom made.

Suits and pants off the rack are no problem. It's hard findind dope dress shirts for work and going out.

To each their own, I disagree. The guys modeling the shirts dont even look good in them. They're baggy and hang off and the weird three button sets and the gaudy designs are way to much for my taste.

hugo boss sells xxl and xxxl online.

i'm 6'4, 260 and wear a 50R but the pants are too big for me. I have to have them taken in a bunch.

finding clothes that fit my shoulders and back without making me look like i'm wearing a sheet is hard.

HB stuff usually fits

I concur, the too baggy look doesn't give one to show off their physique. It shouldn't be homo tight but it shouldn't be hip hop baggy either. A middle ground would be good.
