Girl Names
Do girls names affect your attraction to them?

There are some girl names that are more attractive to me than others.

I like names that end with "ya" like Katya, Enya.. or something like: Alexa, Anna, etc.

That said, I get turned off by something like "Tessa" because it sounds too much like Testosterone.

I also don't like ebonic made-up names like Tjuanna. Or Jersey shore names like Drea D.

Essentially I like more feminine names, not names with a combative masculine association.

Other names I don't like
Olga (sounds like someone vomitting up a hard-boiled egg)
Genevieve
Corrine
Shanon
Sharon
Athena

I'm not a fan of Buelah, Esther, Bertha, Yolanda (even though that is my Mother's name), Roberta (although I met a hot volleyball player with that name) and names that can be guy names like Terry, Lynn etc.

Agree on the ebonics names no Sherlondas or Aquanettas for me.

RE: Girl Names
I tend not to like girls with female names that shorten them into men's names:

Sam, Jo, Pat, Alex, Mitch, Max. Even saw a Stevie online somewhere. If I do like a girl like this, I insist on calling her by her full, feminine name. "You want it fast and hard, Stevie don't you?" Yeah, no. I'm not fucking no Stevie.

If a girl has a normal name spelled weird, like Natalea, I tell her her parents were half-assed hippies too pussy to give her a legit hippie name. If her name is Nikki, I ask if she's a stripper.

It seems like every woman I've ever met named Nicole has been attractive.

I hate any two syllable name that starts with a C or K. I can't remember those for shit and have literally lost a bang or two because I couldn't remember if she was a kayla or crissy.

The Natashas I've encountered are either American Black or Russian. I'm curious about the etymology.

KB- I hate Gretchen too. Onomatopoeically, it sounds like a rickety old raisin pussy.

RE: Girl Names
I have no reason for minding names that end with "a", it's a normal Slavic female name (like Jelena, Ana, Marija, Tihana, Antonija, Ljiljana, etc.)

I mind those names that sound like men's and that have been getting more popular in recent years... hm... Gretchen sure comes to mind, as does Jayden.

Wikipedia Wrote:Natasha (Russian: Ната́ша) is a Russian female given name, originally a pet name of Natalia, which in turn derives from the Latin Dies Natalies, meaning "Natal Day" or "Birthday" in reference to the traditional birth of Jesus. It was traditionally given to girls born around Christmas.

It means "birth of Christ."

I dislike gender ambiguous or unisex names like Jo.

I find names ending in -a particularly feminine: Natassja and all its variations, Gloria, Maria are all perfectly acceptable girls' names. "Gretchen" gets a bad rap but I like its diminutive, Greta.

I have a thing for polysyllabic female names, they sound aristocratic to me. Some of my favourites are Elizabeth, Isabella, Eleanore. Anastasia: not only does it have four syllables and ends in -a, but also has an incredibly elegant gliding "ay" in the next-to-last syllable. I have a thing for old high German names. Pity the modern world is steeped in idiocy and would summarily dimiss these: Geraldine, Costanza, Mathilde, Amelinde, all beautiful names. I also love medieval names: Melisande, Isolde, Rosalinde, and Gwendolyn.

At the bottom, the reason I have put so much thought into these names isn't purely aesthetic. In my mind, the woman who bears this kind of name is elegant, demure, sings and plays the piano, as opposed to posting drunk pictures of herself on Facebook while she gives the finger to the camera.

Olga has a much better sounding nickname Olya (Оля). I think the formal version is a pretty ugly ass name but I've met a couple of real fine Olya's recently.

I think Rachel is a pretty ugly sounding name, but all the Rachel's I've known have been pretty sexy.

I like Tanya, Katya, Sara, Amy, Mary, Ana/Anna, Alyona, Cassandra

Mmmmmm...

Not really.

I like some girls' names more than others, but it doesn't really affect my level of attraction.

I don't like names associated with elderly women, like Gertrude and Louise.

This weekend, for some reason, I met a ridiculous amount of girls named Brooke and Jess. Jess is a pretty common name to begin with, but damn, it was excessive. Also got a number from a girl named "Ania." Made her that much more sexy imo.

I'm fine with a lot a names. I used to put a lot more stock in them than I do now. I dislike last names as first names (Tyler, Taylor, MacKenzie) or names that are overly abundant (Michelle, Sarah, Jennifer). A cool name adds a little something, but not much.

Ha.

Usually my response to "Hi I'm Nikki" is "What's up Nikki, you working, or walking?"

And I can back it up with stats. I'd say at least 50% of the strippers I've banged are named Nikki, be it there real or staged name.

I've never met an ugly Kristyna, Adrijana, Niki, Nikki, Fanni, Zsofi, Jana, or Marija.

In fact, anything with a "j" in place of a Y or I, indicating Slavic origin, I pop a boner for.

My wife tried to sell me on Caitlin as a name for our daughter last year. I said every Caitlin I ever new was fat.

And then Caitlin blew up again this past week.

Andrea is another name that says fattie to me.
