Hello,

I work in a nightclub and a new girl started working there 3 weeks ago. Last weekend we had a nice chat and laughed and I was going to ask her to go out during the week, but then I didn't have the balls, I'm still pretty new to game. Didn't work this week so I have to wait another week to ask her.

I found her on facebook, it's creepy to just add her and ask her there, isn't it?

Facebook = friendzone. Get her alone. Make her laugh and set the date. Number close is implied at that point.

I've friended random girls that I've never met before on FB. Had some interesting conversations. None have lead to dates or bangs or even phone numbers.

Friending guys on FB is beta. Let them friend you if they want.

Don't mean to hijack but yesterday one of my exes tried to add me on fb. She currently has a bf but I'd be down to bang her again. How would you handle this and what does it mean, if anything, her friend requesting me?

If you guys are co-workers, go ahead & friend her but you gotta take the steps to make her laugh/comfortable @ the bar and then seal the deal.

FBing some chick is total friend zoning, but you can manipulate it to your advantage if you see her everyday at work.

Go ahead and accept it. I have had one ex who I dumped that added me and then did all the work towards getting me to sleep with her again. I didn't because she was a friend's girlfriend. To the OP as well, you can go for it if a girl adds you but I wouldn't friend a girl who I wanted to bang.

But follow your instinct. If you have nothing to lose, why not? Just do it and find a way to make it work. And if it doesnt works, then you have lost nothing.

Girls have so many guys hitting them up on fb, that if you do that, you just look like one of them. I've tried it, I'm tempted to do it, but in my experience it doesn't work. You need to see them face to face. If you are their fb friend it is not so hard to go to a similar event they are going to. But you really need to have their phone number and display interest early. A main advantage of being their fb friend is to scope them out and see what they are like, and of course can they do the same. so its a double edged sword. Of course, you can chat to them on fb chat as well. but personally, I'm not so much into fb chat as it takes up so much time.

I recently sent a girl a message just saying I wish her a happy new year and I will see her in the new year and of course that is displaying my interest. I have her number as well, but have been seeing another girl. This is non needy and friendly and it worked, she just "liked" something obscure I posted on fb. She also added me and told me she would add me when I met her.

I would rarely add girls I am interested in as you just come across as beta and I notice so many other guys add "hot girls" as soon as they meet them. don't be that guy. on the other hand, some "hot" girls will never add guys full stop. it can be weird if you are in a social circle and do not add them. I know a few "hot" girls I have not added, but who display interest in me. sometimes I relent and add them. but it can be powerful if you don't add them.
of course, facebook is just the way the world works often these days. whether you like it or not and the often petty mechanations of it.

some young girls especially know that you being fb friends with them may appear to add some sort of status to you. once I had to leave town and not continue to see a young girl, when nothing had happened between us. she was surprised I was leaving, but I had no choice. she said I could find her on fb, I said, I said had already found her! it was no effort on my part, I saw her pop in a friends status and pushed the button "add friend", but it is so symbolic of beta chasing... which is what it appeared to be to her!
and I saw her dismay at the time!
She rejected that friend request!
eventually, she added me again. and then posted on my wall how she was looking forward to seeing me again!

I had to fb close a girl instead of getting the number because I was at my stop. Reluctantly I had to add her as friend since she's unlikely to see any message (goes to the "Other" inbox) that doesn't come from her friend.

I think she missed the first message I sent few mins before adding her judging by the fact that she accepted the friend request but a read indicator didn't appear on the message for a day, and after that hit her up with another one to make sure she sees the first message where I asked her out. Just adding a girl and not making any other kind of initiative on FB you just closed will definitely creep her out. So far seems to have turned out well although I was reluctant about sending the second message, but gotta keep the ball rolling when you're still a semi fresh memory for her.

This is why I hate FB closing and gaming on FB in general. In short, send the message during or after adding a girl, not before.

Edit: I had to confirm this with a dummy account. I sent a message less than minute before adding myself as friend and sure enough, after accepting the request the message remained in the Other inbox making it almost impossible to notice within a reasonable timeframe.
