The "truth" behind non-natural bodybuilding...
Do you want to know which is the true routine and "suplements" that don't show behind most of the bodbuilding magazines?

mainly true, but part 1 about the t3, huge exaggeration, junk food is eaten quite often in offseason mainly cause itll hit protein requirements and the calories are easy to take in but nobody is eating 10k cals in mcdonalds. I know 2 canadian pros quite well, lots of national competitors and trained and talked shop with a few pros, and nobody hides the junk but nobody eats like that all the time and that much.

points 2,4,5,6 are dead on.... point 3, I'll disagree somewhat but machines are used frequently so I cant say its entirely untrue but nobody goes without free weights completely, just dont rely on them anymore.

RE: The "truth" behind non-natural bodybuilding...
This is a day in the life of an IFBB pro bodybuilder (it's available online).

So heres basically what I do in a normal training day in the offseason...enjoy lol

7:00AM - Wake up, drink 2 scoops of BCAA's, pin 5iu GH, take 50mcg t3

7:30AM - pin 10iu humalog IM, eat 60g whey isolate, 2 cups oats, 1 cup strawberries

9:30AM - pin 100mg injectable dbol, 100mg TNE, 15iu humulin-R subq, eat 1 cup oats, 2 cups egg whites

10:30 AM - 40g whey isolate, 75g carb powder

11:00AM - train while drinking gatorade mixed with 20g whey isolate, 50g carb powder, 2 scoops BCAA's, 10g creatine

12:00PM - done training, immediately inject 10iu GH IM or IV (i hate doing it IV so sometimes i just pussy out and do it IM lol)

12:30PM - 10iu humalog IM with my post workout shake of 80g whey isolate, 100g carb powder

2:30PM - 8oz chicken breast, 2 cups grits or white rice

5:00PM - up to 16oz of chicken/turkey breast with a sweet potato (basically by this point in the day my stomach is crazy distended and i want to puke my guts out from the amount of food so i will put out about a pound of chicken or turkey and try to eat as much of it as possible without vomiting. then i eat the sweet potato when i hit a wall with the protein).

8:00pm - about 10-12oz of steak, usually flank or top sirloin. i dont really weigh it just basically again i buy a pound and eat however much i can stomach.

9:00PM - do my gear injections, depends what im running but if its a standard offseason i usually run a few grams of test deca and eq. I actually prefer to do all my long ester shots on mondays and thursdays which can be annoying because it can be 6-9cc's in a day depending on the gear im running and the mg/ml but heres a general idea...
3cc test cyp 300 in right glute
3cc deca 300 in left glute
3cc eq 300 right quad
3cc test e 300 left quad

then on Thursday for example i might do 5cc's in each VG again just depends what im running but i usually do my long esters like this

10:30PM - 60g whey isolate blended with a few scoops of ice cream and 2 tablespoons peanut butter

11:30PM right before going to sleep 5iu GH subq

when i wake up in the middle of the night to go piss ill pin another 5iu GH subq

thats pretty much an average offseason day for me. i try to eat pretty clean and get almost all my calories from good foods. this keeps me pretty lean so i only really need about 10 weeks to get really shredded for a contest. i have a cheat meal once a week usually for dinner on sunday but even then its nothing too crazy. if i go to crazy on the cheat meals and have like a whole pizza the sodium will make me hold too much water and make my blood pressure go through the roof. the last time i ate a whole pizza as a cheat meal i almost had to go to the hospital the next day because of my blood pressure. i thought my head was going to explode. i only eat steak once or twice per week for dinner i dont eat tons of red meat because my cholestrol levels are already pretty I need to read the rules post.I need to read the rules post.I need to read the rules post.I need to read the rules post.ed from the gear. people need to know that getting huge is just about being consistent. take a lot of gear eat a lot of clean food train hard and dont stop for years and youll end up huge everything else is genetics which is out of your control anyway.

yes natty bodybuilding is a joke. you can get quite strong natty (3/4/5 plates b/s/d) with optimal everything... but big & ripped? forget about it.

i'm thinking of turning to the dark side, because YOLO. the future is now.

No disrespect, but isn't thread comparable to say "Finally found water is wet" or the like ?

Things that are obvious to me today were once new and fresh to me.

Or did you never have to learn everything, as your brain was born with all information that exists?

That schedule looks fucking exhausting.

And people like to hate on bodybuilders for "cheating" by using steroids.

Sticking themselves in the ass with a needle is probably the easiest part of their day.

Some serious work those guys have to put in.

This is why it's funny when guys hate on lifting weights because they think you're just going to wake up one day and look like fucking Ronnie Coleman because you did a few squats. The guys who get that big dedicate their entire lives to that shit.

You guys should check out the interview with 'undercover IFBB pro' over at the blackstone labs forum.

http://forums.blackstonelabs.co/showthre...3-Who-Am-I

#1 Drugs
#2 Genetics
#3 Food
#4 Training

All the guys who look impressive (big and shredded) and claim natural are either lying or are genetic freaks.

Ronnie Coleman is considered the ultimate genetic freak - as are all IFBB pros - and walked the "right" path - staying drug-free as long as is possible, which took him around 220 lbs on his 5'11'' frame.

The problem is obviously once you have to get off for the rest of your life, once stretched skin becomes sagging as what you've gained chemically enhanced is lost when you go 100% natty. Arnold Schwarzenegger comes to mind - didn't age well.

Yep, these guys are bigtime drug users: multiple steroids, gh, insulin, peptides, diuretics, cholesterol drugs, opiates...

but we shouldn't forget that they also put their bodies through hell in training. They are still the 'elite' of their sport. When I look at these guys, it's with a mixture of admiration and sorrow.

Perhaps (like you?) he should have lived a live of mediocrity in his 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s so that his skin might look at little bit better on his 65th birthday?

I think that it was Forest Griffin who said:
"Bodybuilding is a lot harder than MMA. I feel like I'm in pain, and then I remember that I don't push myself to the edge of death every day".
I think that Bodybuilders are the most inspirational athletes. However, even though I admire bodybuilder's physiques, I think that it wouldn't be a bad idea if judges looked for aesthetics more, if just to ensure that it gets the recognition that it deserves.

He's also smoked cigars his whole life as well, and held extremely high stress positions (such as governor of California). Considering this, I'd say he looks at least as good as can be expected.

When you're that big...I think it's inevitable to wind up droopy and saggy when you reach a certain age.

^ So childish.

How many 65 year old bodies have you seen? Have your "all natural" grandpa take off his shirt for you and tell me what you see.

What the fuck exactly do you guys think is going to happen to your bodies?

You are decaying organic matter, and you're decaying rapidly.

Live it up, because old age, saggy skin, and dementia is coming for us all.

Being in a position like that (Governor) is extremely stressful.

An example of just the tiniest part of it-- theoretically California still has the death penalty, although because it's a very progressive state there is a lot of opposition and the really rabid advocates are pretty marginalized. At this point, the legislators know it never has and never will be applied fairly ( rich guys basically never get executed, OJ got off completely) but a lot of the masses like the idea so legislators have pretty much stopped it with an end run, some technicality, so they don't have to take the electoral hit.

I think there were only 1-3 executions while he was governor.

But he had the power to stop them, imagine being in that position, you're actually fairly liberal guy ( Schwarzenegger is not stupid guy) and they're going to do this medieval shit to someone-- you could just commute his sentence, but the guy was a total, total scumbag, let's say murdered three upstanding citizens who had done absolutely nothing to anyone to deserve it.

Or let's take funding distribution. I think he can veto but not issue a budget. So let's say a powerful legislator adds a lot of money for the nursing homes in his district. It gets taken out of a child education program in a poor area. Who do you fuck over? It's zero sum sometimes, and you can't escape the stress.

And all the time you've got yahoos who want to execute every shoplifter and stop all food stamps or whatever because it's "socialist."

See how it's a no-win socially? Someone hates you no matter what you do.
