The people in the board room of a major (or even minor) corporation DO NOT care about other people. Their only goal is to serve themselves and they don't care about "issues." Trannies, Muslims, Asians, etc ARE in fact, only props to them.

Their primary concerns is themselves and their secondary concern is the quarterly numbers. They'll trumpet any "issue" that they think will get them the sales that they need.

I used to believe that Suits, but since I've seen videogames, movies, comics, coffee shops and retailers knowingly sacrifice their profits in order to spread degeneracy, I am not so sure anymore.

There is no way that virtue-signalling bombs like Ghostbusters and Twitter have "quarterly numbers" as a primary concern. No way.

What is so wrong doing ads with cool young folk who more or less represent your target demographic? I mean that is advertising 101.

Now the target demographic in the US are Muslims (the liberal Hijabi girl enraged roughly 20% of the more conservative Muslims), SJWs, anti-Trump demonstrators, BlackLivesMatter-crowd and blue-haired transgenders?

Seriously - all those groups combined are at best 10% of the population. And many of them will find fault in any of your pandering anyway.

So why not make it politics free and just cool?

It could most likely be "investment gambling" on whatever is trending:
Marvel went the extra mile catering to what they thought is the dominant audience (shrill triggered man-children) replacing "legacy" (for lack of a better term)characters with "diversity props". Their sales have dropped as the the social justice trendies do not buy comic books and the actual paying audience who like White womanizing Tony Stark and fapping to blonde ms.marvel get pissed and drop the title.
Enough of this happens and the execs say "Ok lets turn this around" (unless some *other* funding order is coming from somewhere else than sales)

Adopting and trying to sell ideology (instead of promoting your product as the best it can be) has to be the laziest marketing strategy ever.

Aaron Clarey has some interesting theories on why this is happening, mostly to do with the ascension of co-opted Gen-Xers and Millennials as they rise in the corporate hierarchy, which I agree is one possibility.

Massive Western corporations are doing this every day now (see the Super Bowl adds?). It warms the cockles and sub-cockles of my heart to see it backfire in such a spectacularly hilarious, but predictable, manner.

Cater all you want to the social justice crowd, they will NEVER be satisfied. If you're in a big multinational corporation with millions in profits they will always see you as the "privileged". Act like you're one of them all you want, they'll try to destroy you just the same.

Also the marketing companies will have to readjust their consumer target reports. Due to the draconian leftist nature of virtue signaling an ever greater percentage of people will signal that they "love" fat-acceptance, gender-bender-love, ageism, heightism etc.

Essentially companies will have to readjust and actually find out what the public truly thinks and not what they tell you that they think. I got the commercial.

Kendall Jenner takes a big drink out of a pressure cooker with a Pepsi logo on it. Then the same Muslim woman walks up, finishes the Pepsi, then they both smile and pour some nails and fertilizer into it.

They walk away into the sunset holding hands. Kendall stops, pulls out her phone, goes to the Pepsi app, and hits a button that says "Jihad!" And the pressure cooker blows up at a crowded bus stop.

There was a tweet from Coca Cola's official account a couple weeks ago that called President Trump a "disgusting excuse for a president" and told him he had small hands. To my knowledge the company didn't disavow the tweet or claim their account had been hacked. Don't know what the official explanation was. So fuck Coke too. Not that I drink the nutritionally deficient sugar water other than the occasional rum and cola-- but after all this I've switched to the generic cola whenever I'm into the rum.
