I notice pairs of brunette and blonde quite often.
I usually approach them by asking 'hey I often see blonde/brunette hanging out together, is that you guys' preference?'

I know it's not tight enough. any better comments?

I also see very hot white girl with an ugly asian chick.
I am an asian. sometimes I talk about asian one first 'hey is your friend from xxx?' 'hey I want to talk to your asian friend, can you translate for me? lol' but I don't want another white girl think I am interested in asian one.

Let's say you are a white guy. you want to talk to this asian girl while ignoring other white girls (your own kind). how would you do it?

Why feel the need to treat these types of two sets any differently? Just open them like you would any group of two and focus on the one you like. Day game two sets are a bitch, even when you have a wing to make it two on two. They're more hesitant to give their numbers and they flake way more. If you're in a spot with a lot of foot traffic you're better off just approaching girls who are by themselves. I'd be very interested to hear if somebody else knew how to properly handle pairs.
