Apologies if this seems random or pointless to make a thread on, it's late here and I just came home from a gig so I'm extremely tired but I thought I'd share a little lesson I learnt tonight with you all.

Long story short, at the insistence of a good friend who went to school with her, I told the boyfriend of a girl I got with that she cheated on him with me and another guy.

I passed by the girl earlier today on campus (for the record there's no chance we'll ever have a class together thank God) before it happened and said hey and she ignored me so I just laughed it off with my buddy. Then later the boyfriend finds me on Facebook and messages me saying that she said she's been getting "bad vibes" from me and he messaged me without telling her that he wants me to stay away from her. I was exhilarated from having just met some members of a band I like and running around stealing gig posters with people so I basically just told him yeah sure from my phone to brush it off.

Anyway a little bit later I was talking with my friend who went to school with her and he told me that she's got a history of cheating and he convinced me to tell the boyfriend for him since he didn't want to mess with his friendship groups from school and cause drama there. People always told me never to bow down to peer pressure...

So then I messaged the boyfriend with what happened with me and some other dude she also cheated with. Pretty sure he went straight to his girlfriend and told her that I did. I gave him some photographic proof of a FB conversation I had with somebody about it (with the persons info brushed out of course) detailing some of the shit when he said he didn't know who to believe but that still didn't work.

It was that moment I realized that most guys would never take off the rose tinted glasses with their girlfriends and will always take their side on this type of shit. After some back and forth I got sick of it and told him I want nothing to do with either of them and not to contact me.

I got told by somebody the day after I first met her that the girl is a drama queen and a bit crazy so now I'm afraid of what I've gotten myself into by telling the boyfriend. I really fucking shouldn't have. I'm sick of this shit, I have no place telling a guy I don't even know that his girlfriend is cheating on him. Fuck that man to man shit with strangers. I'm never going to go through this experience again. Lesson learnt.

/rant. Time to sleep.

You should only tell on a cheating girl if it's one of your friends' girls. Don't try and save random guys, because they've got no reason to trust you, whereas your buddies have.

This comes under the broader rule of "Avoid drama." If I were Roissy, that'd be one of the commandments I've learned from game. e.g.

Girl giving you shit because you forgot to call her > Ignore.
Drunken girl won't stop grinding on you even though she's fat and you're not interested > Walk away.
etc.

If this girl cheated on her boyfriend with you, then you've got sex out of her. She's obviously a shady girl so not worth any more commitment, so just take the notch and run. If she's not ok with that, just blame her and say politely "you're too complicated" and bail.

You seem to have learned this, but just in case you run into it again, that's my advice.

I agree. Avoid drama. It's not your fight.
People aren't equal. So accept that some people will go through life with that rose tinted glass thinking.

The quote" you can lead a horse to water,but you can't make it drink" was said for a reason.

At the end of the day..you'll be a much more chill person when you just let things go.

Not really a game lesson, more like a life lesson: Unless its a really good mate dont bother getting involved in other peoples squabbles. Complete waste of your time.

Not from a stranger. My assumption is every girl is fucking around anyway, that's just what they do. But if it I hear it from a dude I don't know I'm just going to assume he's trying to drive a wedge in between me and my girl for his own reasons.

Fire your friend! He’s either: 1) Too stupid to be your friend because of his poor decision making skills and inability to recognize that he was sending a friend into danger. or 2) Trying to sabotage you by sending you into a situation that he knew would end badly.

All is far in love and war and success is secrecy and secrecy is success. When it comes to notches a man never asks and NEVER answers - no ones biz who you bang but yours - until the court sends a warrant for your DNA anyways and as a grown man you should know how to avoid that.

No. Honestly this is the type of thing that you hear in the news. Deep diver is trying to drop it like its a Tuesday evening. Guys get into fights all the time, but lethal outcomes are not a common outcome in any neighborhood and I lived on 10th and daisy as the only white guy in long beach. Guys acting hard are my pet peeve so forgive me sonsowey if I'm skeptical of his claims.
