Where should an actual human relationship figure in, in all this shit?
I guess maybe this is a milestone in the 'game' process, but the better I get at charming women (and people in general, I work in politics), the more I find myself desiring some connection with the women I fuck.

This isn't true with all of the women, some are just one or two rounds of hookups, but after the third time I find myself developing at least a mild, short lasting affection. With a select handful I've seen for months or in some cases years... I can't help but feel an emotional connection.

How do you guys create such an imaginary connection with girls time and time again and not let it affect you? I've been slowly working on disconnecting the physical aspect of male/female interactions, but in the end find it both impossible, and perhaps undesirable.

What is the right level of unattachement from this shit?

why not? That's natural. go with it, if that is what you want. Why doesn't that work out for you?

I will spell it out for you - emotional connections are human, and you are a human so why wouldn't you have an emotional connection to a female you have been seeing for years?

hmmm, so you are calling connection imaginery, then you are stating it as a valid quanta you must deal with?

It is not like emotional connection is created per se, it occurs simply by having sex and being affectionate that a connection will develop.

Emotional connections may effect you, but you can use your head, and deduce what is right for you. i.e. do I keep seeing Fanny or leave her or do I want to marry her and have kids or do I keep seeing different women and see Fanny as well or do I want to keep seeing Fanny exclusively?

It is simply a matter of making some choices here.

There is no right level. You can have emotional connections but not be attached to them or ruled by them, operate from a kind of Buddhist philosophy.

To me you have to have girls fill different roles in your lives.

Every guy will find a girl that he will go borderline oneitis over, but not every girl will be like that.

Normal dudes will have a problem with a certain girl and work to try and fix it. Maybe she's the type who only ever wants to watch movies and cuddle after sex. But youd rather go out and be social. A regular dude will either try to change her or change himself so he can spend more time with her.

What I'd do in a situation is just add another girl to my life that fills the role of going out and drinking/having fun with and when I want to just relax go see the other girl.

You will struggle with the attachment level for a long time until you either become completely numb or find a girl you really like. The best way to stay unattached is to leave after sex. If that's not possible because she's at your place, find a way to get her out (but make sure you call her a cab asshole!).
