I've been trying to post this for a few weeks but ran into registration problems. Anyways, when this happened I figured it'd be a perfect example of beta idiocy to show to you guys.

Backstory: I met this girl on the LIRR in Queens a few months ago. I tried to swoop her and gave her my number (my phone was dead). She never hit me up until she ran into me on the street a few days later and thought it must have been fate. Yet, she also now told me she had a boyfriend back in California (I'm in NYC) from her college days. She said she thought I was cool and decided to hit me up anyways in a platonic manner. I figured I'll try to smash anyways, and if not she may have tons of fly friends regardless.

We start hanging out a few times a week as just friends, and I tell her about all the girls I'm swooping just like if she was another friend. to which she starts thinking I'm a player. She also starts running into me on the street with other girls. I immediately realized she was turned on by the fact that I swim in vagina. Then she tried to hook me up with her friend and her friend actually liked me. It's because of this, that I think my value increased in her eyes and she started flirting with me suddenly. A dick pic later and I was in them draws the same night. We started fucking multiple times every day we hung out which was 2-3 times a week. I soon found out that she's had a few other fuck buddies out here since she moved to NY and I wasn't the first. Then one day we did ecstacy together and had an all night fuck-fest, but to drug made her very emotional and she professed her love to me. The herb ass kid immediately drove from Cali to NY to fix his relationship. The girl told me she was very upset that he wasn't more pissed about this situation and actually lost respect for him for the fact that he didn't break up with her immediately. Nevertheless, she told me she wanted to be with me and was willing to leave him. Since one of the main rules of playerdom is never wife a girl who cheated on someone for you, I told her I think I'll pass. She said if I won't commit, then he will to which I replied that's great. We stopped talking once he got to NY, but she kept hitting me up on the low. The following e-mail is the aftermath of what happened. I'm not sure how he got my e-mail but he stalks her shit so who knows.

Lesson: If a girl ever plays you, don't be like this guy and lose the last shred of dignity and confidence you may have by being a beta bitch.

The guy hadn't visited her in months and she was sexless for a long time. I filled the void. Plus, she was fly, lived a few blocks away from me and had her own apartment...why not? Weren't some of you guys a bit like this/slightly beta? Not nearly to this extent but still.

Personally, it's not the beta stuff they do..well some. The thing that pisses me off is the way they refuse to see reality, like this guy.

She cheated on them but he thinks he can still work it out and is blind. Guys sometimes ask me what they should do, I tell them to dump the ho and get another one, they blabber "but what if I can do X and Y and Z to work it out" or "maybe this is an exception, she's not like...".

This guy has gotten cheated on back in California by the girl as well as here in New York. He's been through this situation before, this is nothing new. This. Or at least this sentiment. I agree with other posters that your best course of action is to just remove yourself from the situation entirely. The kid's probably not going to take advice from you anyway. That girl's a cunt for stringing the poor guy along. He can and should do better and if I were to have a friend in a similar situation that's the advice I'd give.
