milk products and yogurt
Over the past couple years, based on various info, I have begun to phase out milk proudcts. While I still eat cheese, I have completely removed milk from my diet in place of soy and almond milk. The problem is, I am still not sure why its so bad. I do remember hearing that milk is for babies and adults shouldn't drink it. Thats why half the world is lactose intolerant. However, when you look at the nutritional info, milk seems fine. Is there some intangible quality that milk has that makes it bad? and what about yogurt? Is yogurt OK?

What's bad is what they do to it in the homogenization and pasteurization process. Then there is the lactose issue, which may or may not affect everyone, but due to that, more people tolerate yogurt and cheese, which undergo fermentation by bacteria.

Don't drink soy juice if you are a man! (In my opinion...)

If only you knew how bad things really are.

I use dairy products.

Mainly yogurt and lactose free milk.
The dairy cows are pumped full of steroids and growth hormones so they can produce much more milk then they would normally be able to produce.
I limit my milk to 2 cups (500 ml) a day and 1 litre of Greek yogurt a day. The yogurt is mainly for the protein though.

I drank so much milk when I was a kid it was ridiculous. A gallon of milk only lasted 3 days at my house. I don't drink much milk at all these days really. Just with some cereal or maybe a glass of milk with waffles or french toast here an there. I do eat a pack of yogurt everyday. Its what I satisfy my sweet tooth with for a later night snack, plus it has 10-14 grams of protein in it.

I think it would be hard to completely cut out dairy from my diet. I have cut back on it a lot but I'm not sure if I will ever cut it completely out.
