This intelligent, funny, workout-grunt bartender friend of mine says to me, “you look like a real sad-sack….”, as I am sitting at the bar with pint in hand, slumped over the stool, leaning on my elbows, head resting in hand, he continues, “…absolutely miserable bud.”

I had just been sent a text message detailing, in length, why I could not see her anymore. I didn’t bother to finish reading it or go back a hundred times to re-read it to see if maybe I missed something. It’s the same old story. Can you be dumped from a relationship that was really just sex and weed and some chit chat? Sure as shit you can. A beta male can.

Another pint poured.

“D, I got something for you to do.” my bartender friend says. He feeds out some blank paper from the chit machine, rips it out and begins to write on it.
“What are you writing Grib?” I asked.

“This is called a thirty day no-contact something or other (I cannot remember).” he said.

This is what he wrote:

“-30 days N/C no contact
-go on 2 dates.
-cook one nice meal for yourself every week.
-go buy new clothes.
-get a hair cut.
-get a new hobby.

Questions to ask yourself/things to do:
1. Why do you want her back?
2. What would you do that would be different?
3. What reason did she give you?
4. What is the reason YOU think this happened?
5. Why do you feel the way you do?
6. Forgive her, forgive yourself.
7. Write a list of positive things about yourself.

Being honest with these answers will only help you. Remember you are the only person that will read this.”

So I did all of that, minus the dates (I know I know, I am working on that).

Guess what happened. On day thirty, while I was waiting in line at the grocery store, post work-out, I got a text message. You know what that message said, it said, “Hey.”

And do you know who that was from? You`re damn right, the girl that exactly one month ago gave me a plethora of reasons not to see me anymore. I banged her for several months after, then the blue pill-relationship-behaviours came flying in and high-jacked my frame again and all hell broke loose. That is another story.

I don’t know if the next girl I use my N/C (no contact) game on will go as well or take as long but what I do know now is that it WORKS. And after reading some manosphere articles I think I may know why.

Before you betas find yourself in a situation where YOU might get next-ed, don’t do what I did and wait, pull the gun out of the holster and do it before she does. You never know, you might get a “Hey” one month from now. -dcl

Basically, rebound-fuck your way out of the doldrums. Helps prevent "oneitis", and reminds you that you are a man who lives his life.

I think you are missing the point of No Contact game.
As I see it, NC game is all about getting over her and moving on with your life. She may contact you for validation or whatever, but that is not your main goal.
You don't want a chick that rejected you from a relationship back in your life. Trust me.

I went through this somewhat recently with a 6 year LTR. She dumped me, I went NC did all those things that bartender told you to do. She came back, I gamed her and had 2 months of mega hot monkey sex with her. Ended up realizing it was a dead end, and just fueling my one-itis. I broke it off with her for good, and it is a bit like starting over again. It takes a special man to game his ex back and not gain old feelings back for her. I was not strong enough.

NC game is all about moving on and going on to bigger and BETTER things.

I talked to him today after my shift and told him I had found those old pieces of chit-paper he wrote on and we got to talking. He said basically the same thing you did. It is to be used to help you get over her, get over the oneitis (I hate that shit). After doing those things on the list and you find you still want her AND she happens to contact you then MAYBE you could CONSIDER getting back with her, but only because YOU want to. And still, getting back together was not advised.
