I would love to hear your opinions. All I know is that, for the most part, contemporary commercials SUCK. They lack humor, wit and don't convince me to purchase anything I wouldn't usually get at the store. It's been forever since I've laughed or smiled at a commercial. They are all extremely politically correct and filled with faux-sassiness that is taking over society. Yeah, I'm drinking some light haterade. However, the purpose of this thread is to survey your thoughts on the topic of modern-day commercials and explanations/opinions.

I've noticed this too! I wish I worked for an ad agency screening commercials. Most seem too try hard. But then I think that the typical buyer/ watchers are morons and it works on them. Remember there is a sucker born every minute
