Girls Friends Are Enemies?
Little intro: Im 17 and I discovered the community of men trying to develop themselves a year ago when I was 16 and I have been just lurking around for a year soaking up all the knowledge I could. I don't have much knowledge as a lot of you guys do, so in general I made this account to soak up knowledge and ask some questions and here is one.

I've been trying to hook up with this junior girl and everything is going pretty good actually, I think I have her on lockdown but I cant make the extra step because her friends hate me. You see when I came in as a freshman to high school I was a loser, I hanged out with losers and thats what I was and thats what they also saw me as and even though I have changed over the years and still am changing they have not changed their Idea of me and those girls are her best friends, the one she does everything with. Every TIME I try to do something with her her friends always interfere or she has to do something with them and I know its not a coincidence. I know a lot of you are gonna tell me to move on but I really feel this can be my first lay if I can get rid of them. Any tips? or am I fighting a lost cause?

I wish I was 17 again...I could have avoided some screw ups I've made. I'll let more experienced guys handle this question, but I'll say a couple things.

At your age you want to go for quantity, not quality. Your not even in college yet. I would recommend modeling your game a little like Stifler. That doesn't mean your grades have to suffer or anything, just that, from my college experience, a lot of cute girls would do another guy every weekend. This girl you like, you've got her on a pedestal...just saying.

I appreciate the insight and I will take the criticism my man, but I do not think I have her on a pedestal, but I can agree that sometimes I do make mistakes with her that may seem like I am overcommitting such as being a little to needy. She is quality in the looks, I don't know anything about her personality as I can't get to know her. Should I put her on the back burner and try to hook up with some of the sophomore or freshman cuties?

edit* I think this is important and I left it out. I go to a small school of around 450-480 people, majority freshman and a lot of guys like her but none of them make any moves. I haven't shown any interest in her until recently and the more I think about your post, the more I come to the conclusion she is running circles with me.

ya. a good reason to put any one girl on a pedestal is that so you can look up her skirt.

if you are asking her when she is around her friends and she's turning you down then you need to find a way to ask her at other times

BUT IF YOU ARE GETTING TURNED DOWN OVER A PRIVATE CALL/MESSAGE WITH AN EXCUSE SHE HAS TO DO SOMETHING WITH HER FRIENDS. THEN SHE IS NOT THAT INTO YOU. A GIRL THAT LIKES A GUY WILL SNEAK AWAY

but HS is a clickey bs. everyone cares quite a lot about what their friends think.

try to date outside of your own HS. especially in the summer. go to every fast food place in 5 mile radius. when you spot a hottie at the checkout order from her. Once she gives you the receipt and asks "Is there anything else you would like?" slide back the receipt and say "Yeah, your number"

also lift
and run
and read

That's another regret I have, not going for the girls a year or two below me in high school. Def go for a freshman or sophomore chick.

They will naturally look up to you as the older, more experienced guy. The girl you are going after, you will more likely get her if you are dating a cute younger girl already, so, its a win win.

Girls just entering high school are super thirsty for older guys.

When the school year starts act quickly and without hesitation.

Move on, but not really. What I mean is, stop chasing after her and trying to do stuff with her. As other guys in this thread have said, find some freshmen girls to surround yourself with. She'll get jealous and see that you have other things to do than struggle trying to hang out with her all because her asshole friends keep getting in the way. You'll be surprised what this may do. She might end up saying "fuck you" to her friends (in a sense) and end up being the one asking you to do stuff.

RE: Girls Friends Are Enemies?
One thing you'll come to realize as you age is that there are an awful lot of barriers to successfully conquering a woman.
Friends certainly constitute a major component, as women inherently link their worth to their social standing i.e. if they are ostracized they believe that they have significantly less market value and so are more inclined to remain part of a circle.
This is why women tend to herd, particularly in your age group.
To your situation, I would repeat the advice you've been given - if she's rejecting you in private citing her friends as en excuse, walk away and never look back.
If however they're the ones interfering, then you need to isolate and amplify. There's plenty of material advising you on how to accomplish that, so find what works for you and implement it.
It is an uphill struggle, so don't focus solely on this one girl. Approach as much as possible and take it all in stride.
Remember - self-improvement is the goal, women are a natural by-product.
