Read many stories on how they marry the poor shmuck, get the citizenship and divorce him, taking half of his hard earned everything.

I've had this happen to me within the last few months.

-Either they snagged a dude and want to compare him to you/rub it in your face.
-You were the guy who got away and they need to get it off their chest since their current relationship sucks.
-If you had something real; they are going through a tough time and want to lean on you because you gave her what others can't.

Hey guys theirs alot of good sound advise on this forum: i recently had an ex girlfriend get in touch with me and the first thing i did was look this forum up.

Here it goes : she mesg me about a week ago with some apology on how things ended badly and we started mesg back and forth she kept bringing up our history together especially our sexual history. So i figured maybe she was just looking for a lay and since shes a former flame and ex ltr material i figured why not, her intentions "seemed" forward.

fast forward to when we meet up and all the warning flags started to pop up
she was looking to get her ego stroked and find some validation . I found this through our conversation i maintained my frame but with the introduction of booze in the convo my frame somewhat faltered.

warning signs : she just broke up with her bf of 4 years , shes was already talking to someone else, and she mentioned she had alot of guy friends. The warning lights lit up like a effin christmas tree so i knew the score. Somewhere in the back of my head i knew deep down that what we had was gone and was no longer attracted to her. she was damaged goods. she wanted to go back to my place and was sending general ioi"s at me so we went to my place for a drink. Only for her to FLAKE on me last min before she left. OF COURSE i was salty but i kept everything that was said on this forum in mind and maintained my cool.

SILVER LINING : it helped to know that i could maintain my emotions and frame in check , i recently took a double dose of red pill and wanted to test myself out. I also brought her to a bar where ive been gaming the bartender and out of character she came by the table to say hi to me and check out my date. She now has a general interest in me now. And had netflicks and chill session the following night.


My advise for fellow posters who have the same issue: my situation was a bit different as i was the one to let her go . And i would not recommend engaging in a former ex, i had another one come out the woods this week again. And i wont bother to entertain her , lessened learned. If you plan to hook up with a past flame make for damn sure that your not secretly harboring any lingering feelings. Cause even i had some residual emotions after the encounter.

If she initiated the breakup because she thought you were a loser who would never get anywhere, she may contact you to verify that, indeed, you are a loser who never got anywhere. She wondered whether it was the right decision or not and wants closure.

Unless she's histrionic.. or you're concerned you'll catch feelings again I don't see what the problem is in meeting up for a drink, potentially having other women see you with an attractive woman with whom you have rapport, and possibly getting the bang? I only have 2 legitimate exes tho.. so maybe I'm ignorant

One of my exes is horrible. After breaking up and getting back together and getting dumped again I completely cut her off and ignored her for over two years because she stood me up. Then we bumped into each other in public and she tried to re-kindle contact, finally suggesting that we meet up again and she stood me up AGAIN.
Ignored her for another 2 years and she's just got back in touch to see how I am only recently.

Ugh. Except compared to that period in my life, now I am killing it. Time has not been kind and her SMV has plummeted. I don't know what I ever saw in her.

Get back in touch, Fuck that shit.

I just got a text last night. Its been 3 months now.

We ghosted each other after seeing off and on for almost a year. In my mind, I was just waiting to see what the fuck, how long will a woman wait to initiate contact.

In her mind, she just went and found a new guy haha. Stubborn city girls, impressive.

She texted last night that life has been crazy, drama, started seeing a new guy, blah blah. But wants to meet up.

So its likely: Attention and boredom. I texted that I was out and if she wants to see she has to meet me. No dice, so I doubt she is horny. We did have A+ level sex though, which is not easily imitated, so maybe she is testing out getting some side action.

But yeah, its those three for sure.

If you ended the relationship all beta, then maybe she is feeling sorry for you all of a sudden and wants to know you are not suicidal, but not awesome either.
