Ok guys, I've been reading the forum for a few weeks and recently joined. Great site by the way!
Anyway to my point. I'm off to Rio for a month next week. I'm staying at a hostel in Lapa for the built in social side although it's not my usual thing. I've been pipelining girls for the last week or so via tinder (girls that have their own place to cut down the nightmare that staying in a hostel will cause) . My game has always been tight and I have 4 women that are pretty much dtf. However as expected the hottest (and horniest) doesn't speak English and my Portuguese doesn't go much further than basic greetings. She knows this and still seems keen but I'm just wondering if I should stop wasting my time or try to close her with luck and Google translate.

I'm starting to think my time would be better spent day gaming than being spent on a potentially awkward date

Anybody have any inspiring tales to help a brother out?

How did you game her if she doesn't speak English? I assume you meant 'doesn't speak much English'.

Nope zip, zero, zilch. I opened her in English and had a decent conversation with her. Some of her words and phrases were off so I complemented her English (guessing she might be a little self conscious about the glaring errors) that's when she tells me she doesn't know English and has been using Google translate.
Also of the 4 women I'm talking to 3 seem to have birthdays in the first week I arrive, coincidence? I don't know. I've been invited to the nights out and my initial thoughts are that it's an instant social circle at bars and clubs.

If she's still keen than go for it. Sleeping with women who can't speak your language (or can't speak) is a lot of fun.

It's a whole new dynamic in body language. There's a learning curve but it's most definitely one of the high points of being a world traveler.

Make lots of jokes using expressions and gestures, as well as the tiny bit of portegues you know, and keep things fun.

Alcohol, as always, is a valuable asset for these moments.

You've got a week so cram the portuguese study. Focus on a handful of sentences that will move the interaction forward "do you want to go for a drink?" "can I come up to use the bathroom?" - you said you're going to her place right? Notice these are all closed-ended questions because even if you don't understand the response in Portuguese it will be pretty obvious if its a yes or a no.

You're right - any kind of 'formal' date will be awkward if you can't talk. So make sure that you do something physical that does not require much speaking. Volleyball for a daytime date or dancing (get her to teach you) in the nighttime would be good.

Don't chicken out because of the language barrier. Push outside of your comfort zone, feel the awkwardness and realise its not a big deal. Sex (with a hot Brazilian girl) will be worth the discomfort.
