Red Pill Wisdom From The Bible
Came across this passage today and it made me laugh"

"Better to dwell in the wilderness,
Than with a contentious and angry woman." - Proverbs 21:19

Was the bible promoting MGTOW wisdom 2,000 years ago?

This is fucking outstanding. I bet we could lobby all of the Bible-Belt politicians to get this placed on all courthouses in their respective states. Would serve as an I told so to all the men heading into their divorce and child support proceedings.

A TON of the Bible is read pill, starting with the story of Adam and Eve. Most of the red pill stuff is in the Old Testament.

Ecclesiastes 7:26-27

Ecc {7:26} And I find more bitter than death the woman, whose heart [is] snares
and nets, [and] her hands [as] bands: whoso pleaseth God
shall escape from her; but the sinner shall be taken by her.

ecc {7:27} Behold, this have I found, saith the preacher,
[counting] one by one, to find out the account: {7:28}
Which yet my soul seeketh, but I find not: one man among a
thousand have I found; but a woman among all those have I
not found. {7:29} Lo, this only have I found, that God hath
made man upright; but they have sought out many
inventions.

Proverbs 19:13
A foolish son is the calamity of his father: and the contentions of a wife are a continual dropping.

Proverbs 27:15
A continual dropping in a very rainy day and a contentious woman are alike.

"No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it." Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. “Make level paths for your feet,” so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.
Hebrews 12:11-13

Also gave us a great Bobby McFarrin song.

RE: Red Pill Wisdom From The Bible
King Solomon the wisest man who has apparently ever lived seems to have followed the classic pattern that many of us in the West have trodden. The pattern is "Romantic idealist, wise and realistic lover, gamer, man who sees women as vanity".

He did observe that 'there is nothing new under the sun - all is vanity'.

In his three books that made the Protestant canon, he follows a very familiar path:

1. Song of Solomon: this is when Solomon is a young man. It is a highly romantic and hypergamous text in that he as a royal family member becomes besoughted by a tanned woman who works the fields.

2. In Proverbs Solomon is at his prime and full of wisdom. He warns the reader about living with contentious women and the destructive and parasitical role of adulteress harlots (the text refers to a rich older woman, married to a rich provider who seduces young single men - the classic case of Beta-$ and an inexperienced alpha full of beans).

At some stage Solomon went through his Game stage. He peaked at about 9000 concubines. Surely Solomon is a contender to be one of the world's greatest authority on women and what they really want as opposed to what they say they want.

3. Ecclesiastes is when Solomon is an old man. His youthful force has probably left him and his wisdom is edged with bitterness. He remarks that he has never met a good woman. Life is vanity and he concludes that it is best to enjoy God's gift for our labour and to eat, drink and be merry.

Solomon did say that (Proverbs 18:22):

"Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD."

It seems divine intervention is required to find such a wife.

Anyone who has lived with a nagging woman will understand that Solomon seems to be referring to what we now know as Chinese water torture.

Galatians 6:9
Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we will reap the harvest, if we faint not.

King James translation is always my favorite for this. No better passage on persistence has ever been written.

Mass paranoia is a mode not a malady"

RE: Red Pill Wisdom From The Bible
I admit that I've never made a dedicated study of Scripture or totally read the Bible, even though I've never really met a local Catholic who so much as cracked a book ...
So I was just curious the other day, considering why the regular people don't bother reading it. Do they have their own thing going on? Do you have to read the Bible to believe? Can one actually have a developed religious belief system strictly through talking to the preacher man and community? I'm honestly a little baffled.

Serious question here, anybody can answer.

How has your self-conception of God changed and evolved through intense theological study, or even a little bit of study?

RE: Red Pill Wisdom From The Bible
The Bible is quite red pill; all "red pill" is anyway is stating inconvenient realities which have been 'street wisdom' for thousands of years in terms which offend politically correct narratives.

Polygamy was never forbidden; men frequently married much younger women; the Bible also stated it is wrong for a man to act like a woman.

The church however has become somewhat influenced by cultural elements and has mellowed out; e.x. I believe polygamy was forbidden by the early Catholic church though it's never forbidden in the Bible itself.

The Bible definitely wasn't "MGTOW"; while the Apostle Paul for example may have been a gnostic and have preferred a single lifestyle dedicated to service; he wasn't advocating that men whole up in some basement with Cheetos, Monster energy drinks, and a "sticky" centerfold picture of Emma Watson.

The verse in Proverbs was likely just condemning the "beta male" who settles for a nagging shrew because he hasn't learned to act like a man and hold his own in the relationship.

RE: Red Pill Wisdom From The Bible
"By their fruits you will know them."

Lately I have been thinking of this line often. It was spoken in the context of "false prophets" but I've been finding it useful in many situations. Sizing people up at work, deciding which friends to see or not see more regularly, etc. Simply ask yourself "what are this person's 'fruits'? It could be an emotion they bring to your life, making your work easier or harder, giving a great blowjob, whatever.

Actually now I remember that I started thinking about this line because of Trump, I was thinking about his family and that it is his family, more than anything he says, which convinces me that along with all the flash and bling Trump is a man of worth and substance. His "fruits" are his family.

This is the full quote from the Book of Matthew 7:15-20:

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

I'm not religious, but the story of Esau and Jacob from Genesis often seems apposite when you see how easily people will give up fundamental rights for the sake of convenience or in exchange for worthless trinkets. They either don't realise what they're giving up, or they think they won't be held to the agreement. But when you deal with the devil he always collects.

On the topic of whores from 1 Timothy 5:6

"But she that liveth in pleasure, is dead while she liveth."

One day, if I ever have daughters they will be getting entire lectures on this as they come of age. "Look here gals. What this means is that if you cave to the ways of the world that says it's okay for women to experiment with their sexuality you will become like a hollowed out tree in the end. When you become intimate with a man, you give away a part of your soul. Chasing pleasure, and being used for pleasure may seem thrilling at the moment, but inside you will become emotionally drained and scarred. Mentally a piece of you dies the more and more you give yourself away. You'll be hollowed out of everything that makes a man, a man of respect who seeks commitment, family, security and his dignity, not want anything to do with you. If you do go down that road; you will be forever haunted by memories of your past."

Supplement this little chat with the rest 1 Timothy 5:13. Encourage them to stick with their hardwiring.

God, Family, Country. The three things in life worth fighting for. Except for God; all are dead. Now it's just me, the road and God. Don't know where it will lead, but for right now...
May there always be a road!

Don't spend all your energy on sex and all your money on women; they have destroyed kings. Proverbs 31:3.

I saw. I conquered. I came.
