A common belief in the manosphere is this idea of the universal attractiveness of "asshole" game when it is clear there are large demographic clusters of women who don't like or even respond negatively to it.

For example, it seems a lot (most even) Asian chicks don't really respond well to it. A lot of them even respond negatively to it. I almost never see Asian girls with thug dudes. Much more likely to see them with betas than thugs or assholes.

Saying all women are attracted to this "universal constant" is mis-leading. I think heartiste popularized this idea. What needs to be done is properly "segmenting" the female population into "markets" with their own appropriate desires and values. Then we have a better picture of what the women we are targeting want.

I think once an individual woman is attracted to you, you can run any game you want.

Girls aren't attracted to assholes just because they're assholes.

They're mostly physically attracted to them and then just deal with whatever personality flaws the guy has.

Any girls who you can game by legit being an asshole - as in, the worse you treat her, the more into you she is, are girls with low self esteem.

As a recovering nice guy asshole game is about as foreign to me as humanly possible. I've tried to be that way in the past and it always backfired on me resulting in the girl going cold and disappearing or her calling me out as an asshole or dbag and then disappearing. My guess as to why it can be effective is that the asshole refuses to put her on a pedestal, does what he wants when he wants and does not cater to her every whim and command. In other words women love the challenge of an asshole but no woman in her right mind (unless she's bat shit crazy) wants to be abused or blatantly mistreated. Calibration is key to this kind of game but it just doesn't fit my character.

Not really true. Asian girls also respond to it. They may not respond to it on the initial pick up (especially if they're FOB), but once you're banging, they most definitely do. Assholeness is contextual and needs to be calibrated to the woman, the venue, the country, etc. The word really just encapsulates the concepts of confidence, self-entitlement, and charisma.

Assholeness is taught to newbies to shock them out of their nice guy ways, and it's an effective short hand to do this. However, once you internalize things, you don't really have to do it at as much. Moreover, you automatically start acting this way, so you don't even have to think about it. But all women respond to it at some level.

You have the right idea, but the wrong reasoning. Just because you haven't seen it, doesn't mean that it doesn't work, or that it's not optimal.

There are many paths to pussy.

One of the shortest routes is by being an asshole.
A slightly longer route is being very assertive.
You can also get to where you need to be by putting yourself first.

The longest route is being a nice guy.

Most men are groomed by their mothers and often their fathers to be nice guys from birth. This is reinforced at school and church, and later confirmed by popular media. And they continue on that nice guy path until they've reached some material success in their late 20's.

At which point, *some* are rewarded with a decent amount of dating and ultimately with a marriage and family. And the niceness typically continues right back to the court house for a division of assets that have been built by niceness for the past 30-40 years.

That's okay, the nice man will work for another 20 or 30 years, and possibly snag some poon before he dies a nice death.

Yet many of these men, who follow the well worn path that many have traveled before them see these aberrations.

Some not nice men do get their just desserts and end up dead or in prison.
But a lot of these not-so-nice guys end up with women, money, status, and power.

The nice man looks at the not-so-nice man and sometimes he sees a difference.

One bad guy is built.
Another bad guy is tall.
Another one is very funny.
Another one seems to be rich, or has rich parents.

He sees and understands. These men must have been born to be bad.

Yet when he continues to look, he sees men that look much like him, but with lives very unlike his own.

The nice man disregards this information, because it doesn't confirm what he already knows about the world.

Most nice men do this.

But not all.

Yea, Menace pretty much nails it here. Also, there are (per BANG) age ranges where receptiveness to asshole game works best. 25-29 (Roosh says I believe), but I'd extend that to 25-35, as women age they've remained extendedly immature so it still works, and asshole game is fucking simple.

However, anyone who runs asshole game 24/7, will be labeled a true "asshole," so you just gotta know when to turn it on and off convincingly with a seemingly unspoken reason backing it up. You don't get your way? Be an asshole. Consider it the exact inverse of women being brats.

It's essentially man brattiness. But bratty would be petty and gay, so instead men are assholes. MUCH of game is just doing what women do to us, but slightly better. Problem is most men don't realize they're conditioned to accept a bunch of female bullshit, instead of standing up for themselves.

By being an asshole (at times), you're literally speaking women's language, and THAT's why it works. Asshole = Dose of own medicine 9/10 times if done right.

I disagree. Being an asshole is most effective when the guy is LESS attractive and the girl has HIGH self-esteem, because being an asshole is a way to inflate your own SMV while deflating hers by creating a kind of parallel universe where everything she takes for granted is put into question. You can never achieve that by being "nice."

You just need to calibrate for the situation. I've discovered with this chick some older friends set me up with, being an "asshole" just comes off as a dickhead that turns her off. You left out ages 15-23. Thats when asshole game is at its absolute peak. Dudes at that age usually have little value to offer a female as far as money/power/stability but they can be cocky assholes which is what most western girls at that age want.

As women age many of them gain self esteem (and weight) and decide they deserve more. Sure you have a few female peter pans that still want assholes in their 30s and beyond but they are the clear minority.

I think you may be confusing what exactly ass hole game is like what was stated above. I used to be a very very nice beta guy. I started to change and saw the more "asshole" I was, the more pussy came my way. Now asshole doesn't mean call her a bitch, pour your drink on her and tell her shut the fuck up. Could be as simple as lighting teasing or refusing to be a guy who bows down and pedestalize the pussy.

For me, it works wonders as I am very sarcastic, but with upbeat energy. I can't tell you guys how many times i've pulled birds off this style and they themselves wonder why they like it so much.

I've discovered asshole game in college...by holding doors for women. Follow me with this, there are 3 scenarios that could happen:

1) I hold the door: They never say "Thank You" as if my action was expected

2) I let it slam in their face: They'd always mutter under their breath some cursewords about me.

3) I hold it, look her in the eye and say "You're Welcome" --She'd realize she was rude and would automatically say Thanks 100%.

I agree. As a strategy, it will only sabotage you...even if it works on some women
as a tactic. Doesn't mean you can't be spicy just don't be so spicy that you're destructive.
