I'm early 40s and have a date with a 19 year old I met online. We've exchanged several pics and she's good to go. She thinks I'm in my 30s and I 'look' as such.

Thing is, she doesn't have a car AND she lives out of town....in my original Hometown....where I grew up. Lives with her aunt.

So...there's an outside chance that her aunt and I may know each other or have gone to school together....Lol. Just trying to anticipate any potential problem here.

I'm thinking when I'm on the way over, I'll text her that: "I'll just text you when I arrive and come on out to my truck"

Therefore, not going to the door to 'meet' anyone. Thoughts or advice welcome....

Dont think so edtf.... its not like a city where you walk down the street to a shop. She lives in a neighborhood in the suburbs. Someone would have to drive her there.

Do yall see a problem with just texting her when I pull up or is that too douchey?

I'd modify what you suggested earlier slightly: "I'll just text you when I arrive and let's meet at my truck." Maybe at least get out to meet her.

But texting her (at least I think) wouldn't be that big a deal.

Ok guys....she just texted me "am I staying the night w you?" And she knows I'm staying in a hotel. Shit test? How do I answer?

She started off asking what our plans were tonight and I told her we'd start with the coffee shop and take it from there. Maybe shes asking if she needs to bring overnight stuff...

Dude, way too much over analyzing in this.

I've never tripped on picking a girl I met online up, hell I did it in a super shady part of some towns.

If there isn't anything local she can walk to, just have her walk out and wait for you to pull up and she'll hop in.

It's pretty simple.

As for her spending the night, just say maybe, we'll see how the night turns out like MrXY said.

Keep it simple and just have don't fuck up game.

Thanks guys. ...will do. its been like 90 minutes since that last text about "possibly if we like each other" by far her longest time gap. Hope shes not getting cold feet. These damn 19 year Olds...

"maybe if you're lucky"
"maybe", if you don't end up being a catfish or rob/kill me lol!"

"let's meet first, then go from there"
"maybe"
"i haven't decided yet"

Good point kaotic....she got back to me though and we're still on.

another place I messed up earlier is when she asked me "what are we doing?" And I gave her a logical answer instead of something funny and vague. I realized it after I sent the text.

I'm damn sure not on "auto game" yet where I'm just spouting off Alpha retorts left and right yet. I am however a whole lot better than I used to be.

Well you could make a joke like "oh you know tea and crumpets followed by hunting zombies" or yeah just be specific like picking her up for coffee at X time at X place.

Remember, always reread what you're texting before you send it, it gives you some clarity.

Give us a field report once you're done with your date to let us know how it goes !

I am thinking she may not have been 19 yet and Chris Hansen met him inside and not in his truck. I hope that isn't the case but a guy I work with told me a couple of months back he got into some serious trouble cause the girl he was texting back and forth with was not in fact 19. He lucked out and it did not come down on him hard due to him knowing some cop or something like that. I always dread that sort of crap. You know trying to be legal and the girl is not...

Hopefully she was 19 and this guy got the bang and we are not left hanging.

Update. I was down there again this weekend visiting family. We exchanged some texts. I let her know I was only available Monday evening. Late Monday she texted she woke up from a nap and countered with lunch on tuesday. I texted her I was already headed back home (I live in another town) and Maybe next time. She apologized and asked when I'd be back in town.

So she gives indications she wants to meet.... shes just unreliable as hell. Putting her on ice a few weeks until I'm back in the area.
