I have a lot to learn about daygame.

I tried to talk to a cute girl in front of me in a two minute long supermarket queue.

I asked her which queue was which, joked about it not being worth it for just a couple items and asked where she was from.

She was in front of me and was served first and left first.

Frustrating, how can I become someone who could cold close within 2 minutes? So far I've only had success when the time was longer.

In hindsight I should have dressed better, I was in my gym gear. Is appearance key when you have not much time to demonstrate value?

I number closed in a queue once.
Ramble for about a minute.
Ask a personal question if she didn't already.
ramble a bit more.
standard "You seem cool, do you..."
She ended up being a flake.

Everytime you have a time constraint and a girl is presented the opportunity to leave, one option is to start rambling/tell a story.

I do this a lot at night when a girl I'm macking on starts getting pulled by her friends to go somewhere. I just stand my ground and start talking. The girl doesn't want to interrupt me mid-sentence, so that buys me a little time - sometimes their friend give a minute or two before pulling them again, or they tell the girl they're going to someplace else and she can catch on when she's done, etc.

If I were in your situation, I'd do a back and forth talk until a bit before she's done going through the cashier. As she's paying you start a rant/story and tell it with excitement. Keep going as you get served and don't stop ranting. In my experience she would have stayed there - again, they don't want to cut you off or go away before you're done telling your piece.

When you're doing paying for your stuff, you walk out together and get the contact information.

I also had the situation when it is the cute cashier you want to talk to, and as soon as you start a good convo, here comes more people coming in the line where there were none before. How do they coordinate this effort to derail my conversation? Because you can't keep standing there talking, when they are waiting there giving you the impatient glances and listening in on your talk. Then when I came back a few days later, and sure enough the cashier had left that job and was gone.

A good tip a member posted once is to stand square to the queue. You can tho talk to the person in front or to the back.

I wouldn't personally bother unless I was able to draw out an IOI before words had been exchanged.

If I managed that then I'd probably take one of those little dividers and place it down so that one of her items ended up on my side of the conveyor. When she went to take it back I'd make an issue of it (joking). "Excuse me, miss. That's my (whatever)." Judge her reaction to see if you've got a shot. If she smiles then you're good.

"No it's not."
--"Uhh, yes it is. I specifically remember taking it from the shelf."
"Uhh, no."
--"Hey, look. If you really want it then that's fine. But it was mine."

If she relents and gives it to you then turn it back.

"No, now I feel bad that you're going to go without a (whatever). Tell you what. You give me your number and you can have my (whatever). That seems like a fair deal, no?"

Fairly reliant on solid cheeky-monkey game, but certainly an option.

What the fuck difference does the location matter?

Talk to girls who display interest and fuck every other "rule" nerds try to make up for the game. Beyond that rule it's simply a matter of giving them something to be interested in, and putting yourself in situations where you encounter the highest quantity of women who notice.

Funny you should say that.

One of the best "non-pedestalisation" compliments you can give a girl is that she's exactly your type. It infers a high level of attraction but doesn't set off her bullshit detectors as much as blowing pure smoke up her ass would ("you're so beautiful blah blah blah).

You look at her like "holy shit, is this girl for real" and if she smiles and asks "what?" then you tell her, "it's just uncanny, really, but..."

Very forward, but believable and achievable.

If I get an IOI I'm going for boring conversation + physically direct.

Touch and rub upper back or upper arm for a second or two then let go, before saying anything.

Then just small talk, "How's your day going?" "Nice weather/shitty weather."

At the end, "got any plans?"
"Invite me to your place" if you think the logistics would work.
"I'd like your number" if you don't.

- Comment on something in her basket.

- Ask about her favorite recipes and dishes.

- STALL!!! You must do everything in your power to delay walking away from the cash registers UNTIL SHE IS ALSO READY TO WALK AWAY FROM THE CASH REGISTERS !

- Try to continue the conversation even after you pay. You want the conversation to extend from waiting in line together, paying at roughly the same time, and then starting to exit TOGETHER. It can all flow together if you are ballsy enough. If you need to, wait for her and casually continue the conversation when she catches up.

- Include others in the conversation. The cashier, other people in line, etc. This shows social skill and confidence.

- As you are walking away from the registers together, say something like:

"hey nice talking to you, wanna exchange information and chat again?"

"nice chatting with you, are you available to talk again sometime?"

"nice meeting you, what are you doing this weekend, want to go out day drinking?"

"nice talking to you, can I take you out for a beer sometime?"

Also, talk to girls in the store before they get to the cash register queues.

Whatever item she is looking at, ask about or comment on.

I would recommend rephrasing the questions, e.g. "I'll text you later. Here, put your number into my phone", or "Let's go day drinking this weekend. Saturday or Sunday?", making sure it sounds like a forgone conclusion that she'll accept. You're the man offering a fun time to a girl, not a boy hoping pretty please for some of her time.

As a side note, don't use a trolley. Take two baskets and put heavy stuff in them, even if it's just bottled water.

Carry them wide at the shoulder (don't let them slap around at your waist).

If you manage to do that without looking pretentious then it'll display musculature that would otherwise be invisible and increase your SMV.

Okay, update.

I tried two times today. No success, but I'm trying to branch out of niche game.

I approached two girls who were lifting up random bags of grapes. And I came out with the super smooth line "It doesn't matter, they charge by weight and not by the bag". Blank emotionless faces. Boring line, plus there was probably a language barrier, it's an immigrant suburb.

The second try was in the queue. I opened by commenting on how she has to queue for so long with just two items. This worked better, she was actively engaging me in conversation (maybe speaking Chinese was a DHV? I dunno) She was ahead of me, but still talking with me as she scanned her items. Unfortunately her [female] friends came in and left with her whilst I was still scanning. Still, an improvement on the last time.

On other related news, I managed to get a cute girls contact details from asking her to take a photo of me with the sunset yesterday. We spoke online today and she seems interested.

Good tip, I'm doing it already. I'm bulking right now, so I'll look substantially better after my winter cut, but I've definitely been noticing better results now then when I was fat-fat or skinny-fat.
