Nothing serious guys. I got an iPad yesterday as a gift and i am having a hard time justifying using the damn thing. I already have a desktop PC setup and I dont have much use for a mobile computer. Is there anything an ipad can do that a PC cant.

Take your desktop, move it to your living room, hook it up on your coffee table, lay down on couch, and surf web.

Or

Take your tablet, lay down on couch, start surfing web.

Alternatively, how long does it take to boot your computer up to visit RvF on a browser?

Even with a SSD, the tablet when its asleep will get me to RvF faster than a desktop web browser.

In short, the tablet is smaller and faster for basic web browsing and simple banking functions if your bank has an app.
