RE: Friendship Versus Donald Trump
Most of the people I hang out with either support Trump, or are sympathetic. One friend of mine was posting a lot of pro-Cruz/anti-Trump stuff on Facebook. I gave him a call to ask why. This guy is really big on his guns, so I brought up Trump's support for national reciprocity. Turns out, he didn't know much about Trump other than he had some affairs. I said "after the Clinton era, how is that a big deal?" He's posting pro-Trump stuff now.

Another person I largely ignore sent me a FB message asking why I support Trump. I gave him my reasons. He asked how Sarah Palin's endorsement affected my decision. I responded "Why should it?" I checked his feed out, and apparently he supports Sanders. I've never understood how or why liberals think a Palin endorsement would affect your choices. I guess if she endorsed Sanders he'd run the other way?

I voted yes to the poll, not that I'd go looking to lose friends over Trump, but in the Gorilla Mindset context that toxic people should be encouraged to remove themselves from my life before I have to remove them. I probably don't want to be friends with a person who would sever friendship over a political choice like that.

RE: Friendship Versus Donald Trump
Had way too many arguments with my friends over Trump. I don't talk to them about politics anymore because those guys get their news from the main stream media, so of course they are all anti Trump. However, none of them really knows anything about this election or the other candidates as we are from Germany. I'm the only one who actually really follows the election yet still they want to argue with me. It is very frustrating. So I think I would actually sacrifice our friendship. I enjoy like minded company I don't want to fight constantly. I'm tired of all the fights I already had with them.
