ALEXANDRIA, VA (RNN) - Police responded to reports of shots fired at or near a field where Capitol Hill lawmakers were having baseball practice, according to reports.

House Majority Whip Steve Scalise was shot, according to CNN.

CNN reported a GOP baseball team was practicing at the time the shooting happened. Alexandria police said on Twitter that a suspect was believed to be in custody and victims were being transported to hospitals.

As many as 50 shots were fired at a Republican baseball team practice, according to reports.

Fox News is reporting House Majority Whip Steve Scalise and aides were shot at the practice. The shots were reported on East Monroe Street in Del Ray, Alexandria at a location near the YMCA.

Alabama Reps. Mo Brooks and Gary Palmer were present at the game but not injured. Other reports said some Congress team members or aides were hit.

The reports are unconfirmed.

I actually believe it can totally be a white male. Have you seen the sort of psychopaths that Antifa has? Could perfectly be one of them.

In a certain way I am sure that whites are their own enemy in certain cases, sure, it can be a minority of outcast, loser whites that cannot compete with other people in society so they have to band up to cause a ruckus to show how pissed off they are at being losers, but still whiteys.

All the evidence isn't in but my gut feeling based on what we know at 9:45am EST is this:

This was an attempt by some militant liberal to wipe out multiple GOP politicians; due to some ridiculous suppose misgivings allegedly caused by the GOP and the people who vote GOP.

If capitol police wasn't there (due to a senior leader being there) and/or the the attacker was a decent shooter, we would be waking up to multiple GOP politicians dead today.

Make no mistake: this was an attempt to massacre multiple GOP politicians, aides, family and friends.

In my private life, I have been warning my non-liberal friends to be very careful of their surroundings for a while now. Militant liberal organizations (BLM, Antifa, etc) along with the mainstream media have been laying the groundwork for some time that attacking conservatives with violence is perfectly justified.

The liberal media especially has been complicit in dehumanizing conservatives and Trump voters. They must be held accountable going forward. If not, the odds of the situation escalating are very high.

Last night, I was considering posting a Civil War 2 post in the Trump thread. Not that this is news to many but there is a undercurrent in parts of the liberal community that is on the verge of boiling over; tons of young libtards being brainwashed to think that killing conservatives is social justice. Most will not act out on it but they are supportive of people who take action.

This has to be dealt with sooner or later.

How or when is still up for debate but it needs to be dealt with. If anything positive comes of this, maybe it will get some sensible people on both sides of the political aisle to wake the fuck up. We'll see.

Its good that this shooter didn't die. I would hate to see the left make him into some type of martyr.

While some people are quick to bring up the media for helping plant the idea that conservatives are deserving of violence because of their beliefs. I think the modern school system and especially University programs are the main driver of the brainwashing in causing leftists to hate conservatives. I am confident it will come out this shooter majored in the liberal arts from a very left leaning University.

If the media is quick to emphasize that the shooter has a history of mental illness and/or a criminal record, then it means he is likely a progressive/liberal or perhaps a member of Antifa, BAMN, or one of those other groups.
