I know that most of the pick-up methods emphasize story-telling as a way to DHV, but is a there a type or subfield of pick-up that doesn't rely on that? I can tell stories, but it often feels forced. I don't like talking about myself, and I think most other people's stories really aren't that great, especially some of the stories I've heard on dates. Does anyone have any non-story telling game examples?

Use humor and lots of it. Whenever there's a chance to turn something she says into a sexual innuendo pounce on it. Also what I find KEY is to ensure that you establish physical contact within minutes of meeting her. Make it subtle so she doesnt even realize whats happening and then she'll think about you after you leave her and want to see you again. Things like just touching her shoulder or "reading her palm" are ridiculously easy to get going. Its all about leaving a good impression so that when you call her in a couple days she'll not only remember you but be literally dying to see you again. Getting a chicks number is easy, but leaving an impression so that she actually remembers you and wants you is absolutely key. I know lots of guys that think that getting numbers is the be all and end all but I think they're full of shit because half the time they call her the next day and there's either no answer (which means she gave them a wrong number to make them fuck off), or she doesnt remember who they are (which is just as bad).

How about short anecdotes? Something that is 2-3 sentences long and makes a fun point without getting too detailed.
