fuck wingmen.

stop masturbating
stop watching porn
eat right

You dont need a wing, you need to get out there and make the world your bitch.

I already do the gym 4x/week. Squat 245, Deadlift 250, Curl 5x10x55, etc. I'm already on dat nofap time. My physique, height and looks aren't an issue. My previous life as an awkward AFC introvert prior to hitting the gym a year ago is. If anything, I have next to no social life other than the gym, even though I'm no longer awkward or introverted. Just haven't figured out how to transition out of that role, or know anyone to go out and make that transition with.
Is it really even doable for a relative newb to hit the bars and clubs by himself? Don't they look at you different if you don't have any friends with you?

RE: Where to Find Wingmen?
I usually don't like the idea of disagreeing with senior members but having a wingman and crew to go out with helps your game on so many levels, not just inner game but perception as women are less likely to see you as weird for being out by yourself. From my own experience, my results went through the roof after going out to bars with a couple of guys that were naturals. In fact, I would not be where I am today in the game had I gone out by myself.
Even when the night went to shit and neither of us got anywhere, we at least had a great story to laugh over a couple of drinks with. Now I am in the US so maybe in Europe people are more okay with you going out alone but here in America, there is definitely negative status associated with it.
Now as for how to find wingmen, there are many ways you can go about this, I lucked into having two amazing roommates who were socially well connected but other things I have found work are:
1. Get involved in any social activity and get to know some of the guys there that are single. You might have to rely on gut instinct here but if it is a guy who is okay with drinking and one you can have conversations regarding what girls you find hot, tell him you should hang out and check out a local bar at night. Be careful though especially in these times, you don't want the self-righteous liberal douche to end up finding out you "objectify women" so definitely get to know the person. Outside of married guys and the morally self-righteous, most guys will admire someone who has the balls to go up to random women and approach them.
2. If number 1 is out of the question and you do have to go out alone, find a guy that seems to be in the same situation as you and is looking around for pussy, tell him that you find a couple of girls hot and you need a wingman. I have been surprised the couple of times I have tried this and it has worked, one time it landed me an awesome friend. Kind of risky though because some guys will just be douchebags and tell you to fuck off.
3. Just be social and hang around a crowd around your age, way easier to do this in your 20s. Play the long game and find out the guys who you click with and have somewhat of the same goals as you, then go approach random women. I always try to hint at girls I find hot in a bar, if a guy tells me "go talk to her then bro", then he is someone that might be open to being a wingman.
I know it is not the easiest thing to do though because of the society we live in, so many men are pussy whipped and made to feel guilty for wanting to get laid. From my experience, the best wingmen I have had were former fraternity guys and former military guys.

RE: Where to Find Wingmen?
from what i've learned on here, finding a wingman is the same as networking and finding a suitable business partner. The best way is to genuinely charm them and add something of value to their life.
An example is to go to the gym, see a guy who might be good with women maybe he flirts with women all over, or maybe he's just high energy and talks to everybody. Befriend him, Best way i learned to do this is to be exceptional at something. Personally, I'm a great basketball player and for my size, I'm pretty athletic and strong. If you can add value to a person's life whether that's physical value or adding knowledge, you can easily start a conversation with them.
Now You have to lay on the charm and get them to like you. After they like you, you simply ask if they want to hang out sometime. Show a little vulnerability but DON'T be a bitch. Most guys including myself love to take people under our wings and mentor them. The problem with this, however, is the fact that you need a certain amount of charisma and game in order to even convince a person to be your wingman.
Personally, I agree with the people above. Wingmen are a waste of time, 1. because the women will be more attracted to the wingman than you. 2. because it hinders and slows your progression and you become dependent.
but I digress all you have to do is find a guy around your age with common interests, Befriend him, hang out with him in places where girls are available. and there you go.

OP wants to find wing men because he has reasons for wanting wing men. That's fine, he's at a point where he wants a wing man to boost confidence, have someone "known" to talk with in order to calm the nerves and have someone to "compete" with and show off in front of and vice versa for that hit of courage. All fair reasons at a certain point...
Basically this. Plus, there's another element:
I'm really tall. Intimidatingly tall. 6'7. And buff. I tend to intimidate people, especially women, and even more so the short women that I like, without intending to (or even being aware of it). I'm thinking having a wing would go some way to making me a little less physically overwhelming to women, but not sure.

Hey man, I'm in the same boat as you. I'm 6'6 and weigh 275lbs. Being the "cocky" guy doesn't work out since women are intimidated by our statures. Soft approaches work best for us.
If I'm at the bar, I usually bend over and rest my weight on the counter. My thing is placing myself next to a girl who is trying to order a drink.
"I bet you I'll get my drink before you do" or "I bet you the next drink I get mine before you."
If she is responsive, she will laugh it off and maybe take the bet. I'll then stand up straight so she sees how tall I am. Most of the time, she will have the "oh damn" reaction, and then talk to her until one of us is served.
Doesn't matter who wins. It helps get the conversation started and see what she's up to for the evening.
Conversations sometimes die, other times she wants to keep talking to you or introduce you to her friends.
Either way, this opener works for me. Try it and see if you have any results.
