Instead there is a little show on ITV where a bunch of women stick it to the men, and a few dislikes on YT. I guess disliking videos on YT and being argued at by a bunch of women on TV is what constitutes a defense of Virtue/Religion/Culture/Masculinity these days.

I mean, the Production Company who made this is right here in London, in a little backstreet in HAckney, I could go there tomorrow and let them know this is not acceptable, but somehow I feel the Manosphere is more about Virtue Signaling online than taking real actions and real risk.

Being talked down to by Women on TV, when they tell you what Masculinity is supposed to be, and then getting excited cos a YT vid got some dislikes is pretty beta/cuck in my opinion, and is probably what the Liberal/Media/Gillete wanted anyway.

"Hey, look at these MEN in our society, we can take the piss out of them in ads, on TV, and they think they won cos they gave a few dislikes to a YT video"

The response to the ad so far is as much a part of the problem as the ad, just ask yourself is there anything Masculine in the response here.

You make good points. But I don't agree much with this: "In a proper society vigilantes would cause pain and suffering to anyone pushing out degenerate/sacreligious/blasphemous material like." Sounds too much like Sharia.

I'm curious what you suggest local men should do at/to the production company. Note: they were hired to execute on a certain vision by their client, Gillette. But no doubt they were found to be "a good fit."

The strongest non-violent action we can take is making other men aware -- and a lot of that happens through sharing stories, creating content, etc. But that's hit or miss. I don't bother with those who I see are too far gone. Only free-thinkers can accept new ideas/programming. But I do think we need to do better to counter the propaganda through our-ideas-are-better-than-yours tactics and getting people of influence (public figures) to support and promote them in a more easy to digest way. This method works best on sheeple, as Vox Day suggests in his Rhetoric and Dialectic video.

On a personal level it's about making the choice not to engage or give your money to people or businesses that want to influence or impact your life in a negative way.

I'll bust out my favorite quote from Seneca on what to do when you become black pilled:

"...what then do you imagine the effect on a person’s character is when the assault comes from the world at large? You must inevitably either hate or imitate the world. But the right thing is to shun both courses: you should neither become like the bad because they are many, nor be an enemy of the many because they are unlike you. Retire into yourself as much as you can. Associate with people who are likely to improve you. Welcome those whom you are capable of improving."

This is the problem and comes down to the core issue that corporations were a mistake. Ive lost track of the number of companies that have gone "woke". They are all complicit in globohomo ideology and push the propanganda at all opportunities they can. How does one get away from it? How does one stop giving these fkers their money? Let alone keep track of the prog corps from the apoltical... Only way i figure, is move into mountains and live pioneer style, making your own tools and pouring salt on open wounds etc.. but who the fk wants to do that? And shit, even the companies that sell salt are probably globohomo lapdogs.

I personally use Phillips.

But it seems that one of their biggest competitors is the Dollar Shave Club:

They ship products which are also of very similar quality, but at much lower price.

Almost - except there is still a choice and while the upper-tier globalists don't care too much, their managers and employees who make the woke decisions - they will be hurting big time. In some instances a company making 1 bio. $ can even be toppled.

Don't give them your dollars! There are still many choices - it's not your waste management bill we are talking about here. Pepsi is 10.000% more woke than Coca Cola. Disney is a super-woke company, but others are not. Even when you stop giving Social Justice Star Wars money, but spend it on Marvel, then it's felt. If as it appears Marvel is going woke now, then you can also stop supporting their shit. And the companies will feel the pain!

For example - the Japanese anime are picking up the market share where US comics were before. Because they did not go woke, but are even triggering snowflakes.

Cheaper to just buy the dorco razors off of amazon, but that means buying off of amazon.

I save a bundle buying off of amazon and that would be hard to quit

Copypasta fresh out of the oven.

So there I was, putting on my rape shoes, and practicing my sexual harassment pickup lines this morning. I just got done cyberbullying my coworkers. It was time to shave, I yelled at my wife to smile because I demand it, while pinching her butt right after she told me she didn't consent to it. Putting on the shaving cream and thinking about how I can get my son into a fight at the next BBQ, I replaced the worn Gillette brand Mach3 and began to chant "boys will be boys" as I started to shave. Then suddenly my daughter burst into the bathroom holding her phone. As I began to mansplain to her why she isn't smart enough to know my shaving time is my time she showed me the new Gillette ad. I realized how my every view and behavior I've ever held dear was wrong. I'm calling in sick at the toxic masculinity factory today and registering Democrat. Thanks Gillette, now excuse me while I help to inpeach.

I thought of one flaw/challenge to my earlier suggestion. The climate is such that any celebrity who does take up the cause would immediately be blacklisted and crucified. Not sure how this could be overcome when the media is controlled by the progressive left.

Copy paste from the comments at WSJ:
This is actually pretty funny.
Because any woman involved in PoundMeToo is definitely NOT "The best a man can get".
(Or maybe the PoundMeToo girls are tired of being dateless and are advertising that after all the hoopla, they are the best a man can get?)
Or even that, in this era of overreaction, since real women seem to be in such supply, that "shaving" is all we have left of manly pursuits?

How about Gillette shaves their toxic stupidity first

I take a more cynical view about how accurate this is...didn't this already happen on an even larger scale with the NFL in 2017? I recall hearing a lot of huffing and puffing from sportsball fans about how pissed off they were, how they will never watch foozball again, for, oh I dunno...about a week, whereupon they all seemed to abandon their principled stance pretty swiftly.

These sorts of brazen attacks on masculinity don't seem to wake men up as much as they seem to entrench and normalize anti-male sentiment. Worse yet it seems to make more guys simply "ok" with being shit on. Pathetic, and disgusting. Have some god damned self respect!!!

If you really need to shave:

[cutthroat & DE shave gear pics]

Solingen is a German brand known for their knives, they've made them since forever, including in WW2.

I got myself a DE kit about five years ago now, and apart from that initial investment of handle, brush + holder, I've spent a few dollars a year on shaving. Feather blades are my go-to and $20 worth lasts me two years. I can splurge on a super nice soap or lathering creme from an online shop and still be spending what amounts to less than $15 a year. It's also a great, masculine ritual and makes me feel connected to my pops, RIP, it was the only way he ever shaved and I wish I'd picked it up from him 30+ years ago.

Couldn't watch the vid itself, makes me furious just reading the descriptions of it.

The only way to fight back is to make this personal. You go after the executives involved. Destroy their careers. Humiliate them in public. Throw your drink in their wive's face at a restaurant.

Go after Pankaj Bhalla. Personally.

This is the way our society works today. Personal vicious attacks, destruction of careers and/or jail time. Attacking families. That is the nature of politics and PR.

That's how the left wing plays now. The right wing needs to stop being so prissy and pick up the pace here. These are the rules. We need to play by the rules. Or they crush us.

Trump has shown us this. We need to learn his lesson.

Like the other posters mentioned, I use Merkur too for shaving including Merkur double edge razor blades.

As for shaving cream, I use Proraso shaving kit. It shaves better than a can of shaving cream foam. It's old school, of course.
